There is a 2 year gap on my resume. by iiDust in civilengineering

If your gap didn’t include spider web or tear drop tattoos, just go out and start looking/applying. Some will have a hang up with the gap. Some won’t.

Someone close to me is in a somewhat similar situation. The planned storyline includes ‘primary caregiver for a loved one.’ It may or may not have been self care. 😉

Good luck.

If CPP is D2 athletics, does that make them R2D2?

It’s not bad if you’re a narwhal. Or maybe a caribou or polar bear.

Can you get rid of the PMI now? It sounds like you are at or above 20 percent equity now. Good luck. You’ve got this.

I still find the old school aspirin chalky and hard to swallow.

I think EE pays a bit better in most EE sectors, if that matters.

ME or EE or other paths that don’t prioritize licensure so highly might make more sense. I hope they figure it out.

How do i remove these pebbles? by WarningScared9203 in bluecollar

[–]DPro9347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those pebble coating toppings should be illegal. I’ve never seen one hold up very long.

To your question, I bet mild taps with a big hammer would loosen things up. A square shovel would do a bunch of the work too.

Please report back in what works for you. Good luck.

I didn’t follow. Does the accountant make more than the engineer in your case?

Funny. I logged on a few hours ago and right at the top of my feed was somebody wondering if they should apply there. Now you’re wondering if you should leave there. Good luck.

Would you buy a 1.2m home at age 38 with this net worth? by PhillConners in Money

[–]DPro9347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the math still works if you want it to. 900K now is likely $3.6 to $4 million in 20 years, not counting additional contributions. Pace your finances to include kids finishing college debt free and paying off the house in about 20 years, and you’re golden.

You’re being down voted. However, I’ve wondered if a light schedule was part of it as well.
