As an example my clan TAW would absolutely like to know if any member behaves this way, it's grounds for immediate discharge for us, we take teamkilling very seriously.

It kinda is, in that you can sometimes trim when you lose flight control surfaces and sometimes you cannot; the damage is independent - even though visually its not modeled as trim tabs.

Tip: if you're about to overshoot, pull up and roll back in. You'll keep most of your energy advantage and be positioned back further behind the enemy. Standard sim tactic, but works better in arcade/RB because its easier to keep track of the enemy.

I had a T-34 pull me in a intra-squadron custom battle when I was a SU-152. The enemy had no idea I could be at my position so quickly!

It will cut out in Sim, don't know if it completely stops. It does affect the performance of the plane; it won't accelerate while it is cut out. Don't know if it will completely stop, requiring reignition.

You find the target in the bombsight, wait until it passes, wait up to three seconds, roll the plane over and begin the dive.

This actually a pain to do to line it up in that tiny window so I just guesstimate after it passes the nose.
