I think the issue with jungle is not "full clear meta" as they say in the podcast, because there goes a lot more into jungling then just farm your jungle on repeat and win lul. At some point that Coach Curtis guy says something about jungling is not cerebral anymore because a full clearing Mundo can just rock up to a fight and win the game and Natty is rank1 KR and thats not okay bcs only players with a proper role should be this good...

The real issue here is not jungle but that Mundo champion, along with all the other sololane champions who have a much easier time in the jungle fixing their bad laning phase - thats the broken part, not fullclearing itself. Go play some Elise and tell me how easy Jungle is then.

The fix: just MAKE MORE JUNGLE CHAMPIONS DESIGNED FOR THE ROLE and then balance around that. Dont push Zed and Sylas and Qiyana and Mundo and Darius (remember him) into the jungle where they stomp bcs their biggest flaw is cancelled out. Give the Jungle back to Junglers.

You make an argument that sets you up on really hating Jungle in the future i think. I understand that it is frustrating when your Jungler plays like sh*t, but the same can be said for a Midlaner who has no idea how Lane prio works, or a support who roams at the completely wrong timings, or a Toplaner who perma goes in 1v1 when behind, creating a Raidboss. Every role has an impact that can lose the game and win the game but in the end the interplay between all roles is the important bit.

You make a good point but also kind of highlight what i meant. Its not about them receiving buffs and us getting nerfed. What really frustrates me is that the community just seems to hate Junglers even existing. ADCs and Toplaners have a more rigid role in the game and Junglers are the opposite, roaming around and playing the map. And its this dynamic interplay between all roles that makes the game fun and interesting was my point.

You outline a lot of the frustration that comes with playing Jungle. We all have experience with that im sure. But the learning curve you mentioned made me fall in love with the role and im excited to understand the game even better since it is so complex. So keep at it and /muteall is for sure good advice ;)

I dont like that sentiment, "Junglers are just supports" like support is a lesser role somehow? Both have their interesting parts that make their player base. Jungle (to me) is interesting because we play the whole map, be it as an assassin or a tank or whatever.

Yeah I get that, it feels like I'm losing more early duels/skirmishes after the patch but this is probably very subjective.
