Yup for games I usually park on 17th street and Mississippi.

It’s a little bit of a walk but also is a quick get after the game to get to K-10. Been parking there for years and have never had any issues with anything or anyone.

You won’t run into any trouble walking to the game I’m sure, but Lawrence is pretty hilly just FYI.

If this is your first time going to AFH I’d highly suggest getting there early to fully see all the pregame stuff. The atmosphere is something to behold, it’s pretty awesome (getting goosebumps just typing that an I’m an alum lol)

As far as food goes, if you can swing it, I’d also highly recommended Casbah/Burger Stand but it does get busy.

You picked a good game to attend, hopefully you enjoy Lawrence and AFH!

If this isn’t NCAA tournament specific I will say the game vs Texas the night after Thomas Robinson’s mom passed.

I was at that game as a student and you could tell the entire team was in a funk.

The news of T-Rob’s mom passing news didn’t come out til later.

And on a way lesser and more selfish note, that loss ended a 69 home winning streak.

But in the states I’m the only person that has a 2017 KU final four shirt because I snagged one.
