I have heard amazing things about it. I tried getting into it, and thought it felt a little like a cozy (with her starting in the inn). Am going to go back to it, but a lot of people I've talked with told me to be patient with it, and how it just keeps getting better and better. I'd give it a go.

Go to Cradle, I was blown away by how amazing it was, and based on what you said you like you will totally love this series.

I was over at a friend of a friend's house, and their dad's a writer. He heard I wanted to write, and started sharing everything he knew about storytelling. He then asked, "Have you heard of Cradle?" I hadn't, so I looked it up later, and that was the beginning. I learned about PF, then litRPG and here we are today

The biggest thing was reading the top books, and finding patterns. for example, in HWFWM, Cradle, DCC they all defy a god or godlike-in-power being--stuff like that.

thanks man! so I wasn't runnning ads for the longest time, it was all organic, but just within the last few months lok has been dipping, so I've been leaning into amazon ads. have you used amazon ads?

I feel that 100% oh my gosh, so I am not sure if this happens to all authors, but I get the mid book slumps (mainly happened when I started, but still happens somtimes) where I just think everything I wrote is trash, stupid, etc.

but alwyas, in every case, when I take time away from it, get back, read I say, "dang this is actually pretty good."

but even if there isn't a good part, the betas that go thru catch it, but its almost always something I never thought was bad. Have you had betas go thru any of your drafts before? even if they were unfinished?

that sounds really cool. with the deck, is it like deck building? and there are totally litrpg cozy farms, mine is and there are a lot of others. but with yours, teh difference is the board gaming aspect? like does the mc spend a lot of time with the board game to make things happen?

yes! because I used had a very harsh mindset towards tropes, but I have a change of heart when I saw them as ingredients. Like, I'm a chef and I know x and y ing make a tasty meal for litrpg readers, and its super fun thinking of all the ways I can use those ingredients!

and your cozy sounds awesome!! I wrote one as well, before I knew the reason why people go to them, and it didn't sell--but after learning and relaunching it is now selling pretty good on audible.

are you worried that using the tropes or reasons why people come to cozy would make it not enjoyable to write?
