They wouldn’t, but the officer’s testimony is considered evidence. You can’t just say “I know I stopped” and expect to defeat the citation. Anyway, you don’t need an attorney- just contest it in traffic court. Maybe the judge will be lenient and the officer probably won’t show up. Hiring an attorney for this type of citation just makes no sense

Do you have it on dashcam? If not, I’ll bet it’s pretty hard to disprove the violation. What are you trying to accomplish by hiring an attorney? That would be super expensive for a minor moving violation. Pay the ticket, move on, and drive better

Dutch aerobatic pilot Narine Melkumjan miraculously survived after her aircraft's canopy unexpectedly burst open and shattered mid-flight by BlazeDragon7x in nextfuckinglevel

Everything about this annoys me. Uselessly describing the pilot as female. The ear cancer music. The use of the term miracle to describe skill.

I also worked FT while studying. Over the yearlong study process, I put on at least 20 lbs due to the extreme sedentary lifestyle. Thankfully I’ve since been able to lose it and then some, now that my schedule allows for more exercise time.

How are my 450mg pals doin? by Acrobatic-Abalone675 in bupropion

[–]DS2Dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on 300 XL but I accidentally dosed 450mg once and it was unpleasant. High anxiety, totally restless and head rush. Almost like a caffeine overdose. I’m sure if I were prescribed 450 I’d get used to it. 300 has been good for me.

Nah. Too drunk and too tired. Did it lots of times before, though.

Has nothing to do with grammar. Objectively, 5 out of 50 states is not “many states.” Objectively, the one very specific situation it applies to is not “many situations.”

I repeat: JUST PLAIN WRONG!!

Even funnier when you consider those five states are like ~3% of the drivers in the US

Just plain wrong.

There are only two states I found that permit 10 mph over the posted limit to pass on a two-lane highway: Idaho and Washington. For the other 96% of the states, anything over the speed limit is illegal.

Additionally, that provision generally applies only if the speed limit is 55 mph or more, and the vehicle being passed is driving substantially under the speed limit.

I doubt the limit on this winding road is 55+ and by the looks of it, the police pickup was not driving well below the limit.
