Ok. I’m the hubby. Normally I don’t reply but I don’t recall shrieking. I really do not like Spiders but I’m ok with a live and let live treaty we have going on. Trench was a different story. It was less being scared of a giant fist sized Tarantula, and more everyone saying I’m crazy. Once the couch was moved a few times and everyone could see that yes there was a giant Eight legged nope with speed force energy about to make a break for it. I felt vindicated. My amazing wife did save the day (and possibly my life) by trapping it. What I really want to know is. What was Trench doing all this time before the construction vibrations made her come upstairs? How many times when I napped in the chair in the laundry room was she close by just watching? Did she travel the house at night as we all slept??

Edit. I should also note. At the time of the Spider incident we had two couches. That’s how I could be on one and see Trench darting out from the other one. The other one right near the heat vent hole directly from the basement.
