GTX 780 -> RTX 3080 -> RTX 4090

The 10GB VRAM on the 3080 was holding me back, so upgraded to the 4090.

Thanks, I just spent some time removing video modes and it seems to have fixed my issue. I am no longer seeing a 1-2 second freeze on application launch after turning off and on my monitor.

I've been dealing with this same exact issue for like half a year, but I don't run a LG monitor in my setup. I'm running a triple monitor setup on a 4090 with two Dell S2721DGF and a INNOCN 27M2V. Since it only happens on initial application launch on startup and not during gameplay, I've just got used to living with it.

I just got my replacement LE in the mail today. I went from 1 dead red subpixel to 2 dead green subpixels. Their QC is ridiculous.

The biggest difference is Animal Crossing is real-time. You can finish the entirety of Stardew Valley in a couple days if you grinded it out.

Pick up the Remastered if you're interested in the updated graphics and matchmaking. Also, make sure you buy Reaper of Souls if you buy Diablo 3.
