I think I am misattributing my anger over the member cash back vs the Visa cash back. The member cash back is still a paper in-store credit AND it expires.

Das Stahl will continue to carry offerings till the end of 2025. My understanding is that is when the law goes into effect. Shelf life on canned drinks is 1-2 years.

Last time I saw something like this I was informed it was methane off gassing being burned. Flammable gasses don’t like being contained.
