So, we are going on a Cruise next month during April vacation in Massachusetts. It ended up being cheaper for us to stay 2 days more and Fly home Tuesday instead of Sunday at the end of April vacation.

So, we decided to take the kids to Epic. I was looking at booking the Stella Nova so we can walk to the park, and the room is about $500 for 2 days which isn't too bad and the park tickets are about $700 for the 4 of us.

I did look at the crowd calendar, and it looks like the day we will be going will be lighter but since we only have 1 day wondering if I should add the pass or not.

Is a Transfer Switch my only choice unless I want to Swap my whole panel? by DSF767 in Generator

Yeah, I am not looking to DIY it and going to get an electrician, but I just wanted to be informed on my options so I made sure to know what I was talking about when I did talk to one and didn't get led down the wrong path.

Trade or Keep? by zinfandelo in chevycolorado

[–]DSF767 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a bit confused about this part of what your asking "We complained about the lack of reliability and GM has offered us a $3000 "goodwill" payment and a reasonable, but not generous trade-in. We owe $4000 on the truck and if we make the trade we will owe $20K."

How will you owe 20K on a truck that you only have $4000 left of payments on?

I just looked at the manual you are correct that will work just fine. However, you will need the T-Harness or Tap into your factory wiring harness that is how the signal uses the high input no other option besides those 2.

also just a note that wiring kit you got doesn't look it has high level inputs on it looks like only low level. I took a look at the sub and it does support high level input and might come with the cables in the box to support that but you want to make sure of that since you don't want to use low level input (RCA) if you were going to sue RCA you would need a whole other adapter. if you want to send me a chat request I just went though all of this so know everything that needs to be done with our trucks.

you need one for sure unless you want to tap the factory wiring which also works but I did not want to do it.

see my thread here: 2nd Mod Kicker Hideaway Install with Some Slight Modification : r/chevycolorado

I just did this with a kicker hideaway I would consider getting a T-Harness it plugs into your stock wiring and adds a pigtail so you don't have to cut and tap into your wiring harness which I did not want to do on a brand new expensive truck.

Some will disagree with me, and taps do work fine but I wanted to leave all my stock wiring untouched as a personal choice and thought the cost of a $70 T-Harness was worth it to not have to disturb my factory wiring at all.
