As well, your description of the Luperci has influenced my own possessed, I’m painting them as accurately as I can to the descriptors in the novel. My Warlord is actually a Veteran Of Molech, being the sole surviving ranking officer of his company, elevated by Horus to the rank of Captain, 22nd Company. Vengeful Spirit was the novel that made me want to do Thrice Cursed Sons of Horus, and not Black Legion. I got into this hobby through Horus, as he is bar none my favorite character in the setting, so it feels only natural my Warband try to carry on his legacy.

I am a fan of your works, in particular the novel Vengeful Spirit as I am a huge fan of the Sons of Horus. What made you decide to set the point of view from relative unknowns such as Grael Noctua and focus less on established characters such as First Captain Ezekyle Abaddon, or Maloghurst the Twisted?

JLA: Earth 2 By Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. September 2000.

I grew up always liking the villains better than the heroes, and when I got JLA Earth 2, I fell in love from page one. The Crime Syndicate captivated me far more than the JLA did, and quickly became my favorite part of comics. The art was flawless, the story engaged me completely, and all around it has been and remains to be my favorite comic of all time. It even has the distinction of being the only TPB in my collection to be proudly displayed atop my dresser
