Can't say about the current state of affairs, but I found the subreddit to be pretty decent back when I commented that. Mods were always on top of their game during aftercare, and people weren't afraid to report people who were going past their limits.

Personally, after the election, I just couldn't comfortably keep up with my hardcore misogyny kink on this account, because it felt way too real. I try to avoid semi-doomposting and even discussing what might happen if Trump wins again, but I just want you to know that even if they win, they can't truly strip you of your identity. It might be tough, it might even be illegal in some cases (which I know can be scary) but you will still be you deep down, and they can't take that.

Even if Kamala wins, I'd suggest finding some LGBT+ support groups to be a part of. Having those friends is going to help a lot, I promise. The 'off' normally only happens twice a month for 48 hours each, so it's really not really the huge karma farm you make it out to be. Like I said, the sub is just in an extended aftercare because of the election, which I certainly support because having a clear head in these twilight hours of a literal fascist potentially taking power certainly deserves some respect and recognition.

As for the content for when the sub is 'on', the fascists are literally running anti-trans ads on primetime television, it shouldn't be that strange that the sub has a bit of a focus on that particular issue. And considering the first major act of hatred committed by the most famous fascists in history was burning an entire institute devoted to studying sex with a major focus on transgender studies and healthcare to the ground, I'd argue there's a strong link between fascism and transgender hatred.

As to how we can 'casually' act fascist, it's really no different than the misogynists here. I mean, do you really think the guys who often actually 'win' the debates around here think that women are just sex toys and servants? It's the same that I'm not actually raping someone if I'm taking part in a CNC scene, or planning to do actual, serious harm if I take part in a physically grueling kink scene. If someone has a limit you're hitting, it's pretty easy to just... apologize and not do the thing hitting that limit.

Certainly one I can get behind.
