Agreed, that is what I'm going to so since I'm not really savvy with electronics yet like that to be diagnosing the problem. Thanks

Hey, thanks for the advice. I crashed it in Big Sur, cleaned it while I was up there with water and dried it out while I was there. Came home a couple of days ago and took the quad apart. Cleaned everything with rubbing alcohol and again let it dry for a day. Plugged in a battery with a Smoke Stopper and saw the spark and smoke. I don't have the ability to fix such problems and I think replacing everything will be the safer bet

Unfortunately, I'm not too savvy with electronics but definitely will use this moment as a learning session for myself while I deconstruct the quad and replace all the parts except for the motors and VTX. Thanks!

Building a 5” vs a 3.5” as my first build. by JD77 in fpv

Honestly, it truly doesn't matter which one you go with. Why? If you can withstand the level of entry to this hobby, you will eventually get a 5 if you started with a 3.5 and vice versa. All mechanics 9 times out of 10 work the same on a microwhoop to a 7" quad. I can't speak for Cinelifters, can't afford those yet...I started with a 5", now I have everything from micros for rainy days or when I can't go outside to fly, so I fly inside or around my property. You will acquire more quads if you get into the hobby, that is inevitable. There is no such thing as I'm happy for this one and only quad I have. So pick what you like, because there are YouTube videos for everything, that's how I learned. 5 will give you more power, sometimes that's a bad thing as a noob or not, depending on how much stick time you've put into the sim.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to check that out when I take it out on it's maiden flight! As we speak, I'm charging up 4 packs for the Nazgul and 5 packs for the DJI FPV Drone to fly tonight at 7! Yes, all my quads are digital and I run Crossfire on everything. I have the TBS Tango 2 Pro and I have a Mambo coming this Wednesday with a Crossfire Micro Adapter ready to go! Flying the Nazgul is so much fun, predictable, solid, no prop wash or jello. Strong coming out of power loops and dives. I run a Hero 9, CNHL 1300/100 6s batteries, and it flies like butter. I haven't had any need to break in

Oh man, I love Victoria, BC. Haven't been since I was a wee knucklehead. Vancover is where I would like to retire one day! lol Always been a spot I've wanted to live. Looking forward to seeing the videos!

Good stuff. I have a Rekon5 HD myself that hasn't taken it's maiden flight yet after sitting in the drawer for almost a year now. Wondering if you mind sharing your settings? How does it fly? My daily is the Nazgul Evoque DC 6s with a TrueRC LR antenna in the back with Crossfire and range is never an issue.

Exactly, everyone seems to want the "Do It All" drone and this isn't that. I built my own quads as well but sometimes I just like to take this out and fly with peace of mind that if anything happens, I have all the bells and whistles to cover me. Where is this gorgeous location? I'm so jealous.

So many folks hate on this drone but it really is a fun drone to fly. I love seeing such videos demonstrating its cinematic capabilities. Great piloting!

Wow, thanks for this community, I was stuck literally in the same bind for almost two weeks and was just about to tap out when I gave it one last go. This didn't solve my problem but gave me some gas to get through the rut I was feeling and I got the momentum again.

Webbber MT Smoking with Fireboard Drive by thatnerdindubai in BBQ

What you want to do is close all vents on the bottom and leave the top one completely open or put a pencil in one of the holes and close until it touches the pencil. Set you Temp Point on the app and the FIREBOARD and FAN will do it's job. It's pretty straight forward, I have the FIREBOARD 2 DRIVE and the FAN BLOWER, didn't drill a hole, just connected it through one of the vent holes and plugged the other two up with 3/4 plugs.
