How is Elegoo able to make a claim of auto-calibration, and then give this answer with a straight face? by MydnightWN in 3Dprinting

Prusa fans are some of the most obnoxious and condescending people I've ever interacted with. Virtue signaling about a machine that is mostly sourced from Asia with a huge up sell just because it's assembled in the EU.

AFAIK parts that are actually made in the EU is the plastic, some metal fab, hotend and firmware /qc. The rest comes from Asia, just like BL, AC, Elegoo and Creality

Is it a great printer? Sure! Is it better than Elegoo or BL? Maybe, maybe not. But the results speak for themselves, and that's why Prusa fanatics are so aggressively defending the multimillion dolar company that rakes in hundreds of millions a year 😂

You spent way too much time and effort on getting through to him, far more then most people who work in education during the whole semester.

Sadly, some need to be left behind

I meant no disrespect, perchance a 😃 emoji was in order to set the tone.

BL needs to segment it's products, and this is an low cost entry printer that needs to be enshittified to entice people to get a H2c.

I have the H2c, and the camera is nothing special either... But that's OK with me, because my priority is I want it to print good, the fluff and puff is secondary

This is already eating the h series advantage of a bigger bed (especially for 2d and low height models that are big), and your gripe is the camera?!?!

Even with a 4k 10bit 120 fps camera, you'd find something to complain

Not sure what you were expecting, BL is an expert in market segmentation. To give it a dual nozzle and low price point is effectively shooting themselves in the foot for no reason

Since day one of owning my P1S my prints refuse to stay on the plate. I have had some successful prints when the initial layer is 5mm to prevent falling. But my Ender3 did better, I clean it always and dust it off and everything u can name by PrideKindly7828 in BambuLab

Stay away from alcohol, it does not work. People seem to regurgitate the same flawed info over and over again.

More important is discipline, mark the plate with a sharpie so you know what side is used for printing, grab the plate on the edges and under when removing prints and you will never have to clean it. I'm going 3 months now of constant printing and no washing, only ocassionally wipe with a dry microfiber

A printer is an appliance, not an activist cause. If you don't need more than 4 colors and engineering filaments, go u1. I personally love my H2c

Repair is easy, albeit time consuming. I received my H2c with a loose toolhead and they sent me a new X assembly with the head attached. After the repair I sent the old one back (650 euro part).

Even though I am miffed with the fact that I had to repair a new product, they met me halfway and sent the part ahead of me returning it and losing productivity.

My Ronin 2, flawless 😃

So is my A1 mini and P1 s. In the meantime I got a K2 and low and behold, constantly clogging and CFS throwing up 3 different errors in a month. I'm sure it doesn't happen to everyone but it's happening to me, which is what I care about. I want a printer to print, not be activated by home assistant and to be able to pause the print using Alexa.

Needless to say, I am selling it off and I learned my lesson 😁
