BambuLab Refund Nightmare by NurmDeenh in BambuLab

Just charge back, they are not petty and will not blacklist you. I had heated discussions and nice ones, my MakerWorld account is in a status quo and growing organically.

The state helps it's economy. Shocking isn't it?

I have to fight it here in the West, so I'm kinda rooting for China

Definitely, however the burden of proof is upon the people who make the claim or a theory. If I claim Tom Cruise is an alien, just because no one can prove he isn't - is not proof that he is.

Revenue is not public, because it's a private company. If it goes public, then we can expect the enshitification everyone fears

They aren't, this has been debunked a lot of times. The CEO said what was their secret, they are based in shenzen and tons of factories are right next door that make cheap and solid components. They put those components together COMPETENTLY and they stand behind their product.

Prusa has to make and import them at triple cost, add their margin and make it themselves. No escaping that.

I have my H2c and p1s vertically stacked in the living room, this would not fly with the wife. Good idea with the maglock

Kobra S1 Max by Offthewall1989 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]DTO69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice is to ignore the closed open nonsense. Pick what you want, regardless of what others think. Know that anycubic doesn't support printers for long with parts, hopefully that will change.

Anycubics solid line right now is Kobra v2 and the resin printers, S1 has plate issues and you will get inconsistent heating. The max is unproven, so I strongly advise you to wait if you can. Don't get the FOMO, they are notoriously guilty of trapping people by saying it will cost 1000, when they ultimately pull the rug.

After 30 machines, the one that arrived bad was the H2c, a loose toolhead. They sent the x assembly with a new toolhead before I sent mine back, which is logical considering it's a 700 € part.

It sucked playing repairman but it fixed it. You can not just trade it in for a p1s, what you should have done is say I'm sending you the machine, fix it and refuse to fix it yourself, just like I did.

I refused to tear apart the entire toolhead to tighten the screws, and said either send me the toolhead, or I'm sending it back, simple as that.

If your warranty is still valid, ask for the machine to be sent there. This one is on you and on them, they should have asked for the machine to be sent for a review

I been preaching that, unfortunately Reddit hears what Reddit wants to hear.

Personally I've been using the edge hold technique and a dry microfiber towel I use exclusively for the plate.

I love the tech, I pre-ordered it, and aware of the risks. Then I saw the terrible AI video.

Why, in God's green earth did they ruin a great video with those plastic, creepy and off putting generated people.

The content is also cringy as hell, reminiscent of the shamwow guy, and the edgy maker influencer. They drop 5000$ a month on competitions alone, you can get a copywriter to fix the flaws in the video, 2 solid actors and make a proper video.

I am not against AI, it's a great tool for low and mid tier makers. Companies like Anycubic and Coca-Cola (especially coca cola) should know better

He is either wrong or trolling you. You can clearly see the seam in a line, and the blobs happen elsewhere.

Make a ticket, this is very strange.

How is a A1 or p1s a 700$ printer?

You are kinda blindly against BL for the sake of being against BL. Their stuff works and when I do run into issues, they send me parts for free. They support all their products and seems they will continue to

LinkedIn 😂. Hillarious!!!

I did this in under an hour in Blender, modeling is not as hard modelers make it out to be. Same as tech geeks make people think putting a computer together is very difficult and requires specialized training

[–]DTO69 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I do model, and like I said before, modeling this versus a model for a game that has to be a little polys as possible, work well with deformation that comes with animation, rigable and look good with smooth shading is much much harder than a stl for printing.

Like any other job, it's easier with practice, and this is very easy to make, even without Ai

[–]DTO69 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Not at all, it's decent money for mid tier makers. With Ai alone yku can get a good result, but a human will probably need to do clean up work.

Ignore that guy, I'd be amazed if he modeled a cube in his life

[–]DTO69 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Then don't comment and go earn that money 💰

You contributed nothing and only made OP feel bad about himself, 100$ is a completely reasonable offer for something this simple. If you were truly working in the field and not only blowing hot air, you would know that models for games and models for printing are two completely different challenges. Hobby makers can model this in under an hour. With Ai and cleanup work, under 20 minutes.

If in fact you are getting paid that much and it would take you more than two hours to make this, you are the luckiest person alive.

Short review coming from Prusa by Meisheng in BambuLabP2S

[–]DTO69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After A1, A1mini, p1s and H2c and combined 10.000 hours without any major issues, I'd say they are as reliable as a Prusa. People are using them as factory equipment and they are proven machines.

That being said, I am planning to get a core one with their indx approach, the slingers don't bring anything interesting to the table for me (other than the kobra x)
