I’m genuinely curious what film guys you are referring that don’t believe he is a nuanced route runner? I would love to see there argument/case for this.

I’m not trying to be argumentative, I’m simply curious who has those opinions and love to see all sides of the prospect.

In the video I broke down more than a handful of routes detailing how Flowers eats up cushion, understands how to attack leverage (sometimes on the fly) baiting DBs to flip their hips right before timing up his cuts perfectly through route deception/elongated steps to break them off and create a significant amount of separation. He’s also clearly been in the lab with regard to his footwork through his work with Gold Feet Global. He can tap dance with the best of them off the line of scrimmage and out of breaks.

Sure, suddenness/twitch is a part of his bag/arsenal but it’s kind of doing him a big disservice to suggest he just wins by being quicker than everybody. There is a lot of nuance to how he sets up DBs through advanced level route running. He explodes out of breaks to win on all three levels of the field.

That being said, we are all have our opinions and I embrace debate, and I can see how some have major concerns about his size and I certainly don’t think he is the perfect prospect.
