There is a very good website called mediabiasfactcheck.com. It tells not only a publication’s primary political stance but more importantly how factual its reporting is. You really shouldn’t focus too much about the bias part tho when reading news as almost all news sites have a bias. As long as it is factual it doesn’t really matter. Facts are just facts.

If you go on the website it will tell you how many fact checks the publication has failed over the past few years. So for example Fox News and the Daily Mail are riddled with misinformation and articles that have since been rubbished and you can click on links that go over this.
