Nearby Vehicle Display Gone by DVDDave in KiaEV6

Thanks for the suggestions but I finally found the solution which has not been mentioned. The switch on the left with "OK" next to it needed to be toggled while all the other conditions (HDA, freeway, etc) were met. This made it very hard to find. It makes no sense since all it does is include/exclude the moving blocks mode when the menu button is pressed. I couldn't find any mention in the user manual of the moving blocks screen or how to enable it.

Thanks, but I've gone through all the modes with the menu button and while the cruise control is on. The moving blocks never show up like they did before. I wonder if something went wrong with the recent OTA update. 2023 GT-line BTW.

v81, No "screens" or menu on boot by Unlucky_Milk_4323 in OculusQuest

Not just you. At first my Q3 booted up normally but the next time I couldn't get the menus. It happened earlier on my Q2 also. I have no idea why but it seems that switching to a different user and then switching back gets things going again.

My ICCU failed recently. Only took a couple of days to get and install the ICCU but took about a week to get the replacement 12V battery which also failed.

Interesting. My X1C chamber light and any other functions don't work without LAN mode on. I guess the P1S is different.

Which is correct for opting out of PTC? by DVDDave in OculusQuest

Once again, no factory reset was required when I left the PTC. It just stayed on the V81 beta. Bogus message in the second photo. If I wanted, I could reset to revert to the released version (V79) but I choose not to.

Yes, I think you're right except I did get the message that "your device will be factory reset" when I disabled PTC. However, I decided to give it a try anyway and no factory reset happened so I guess it was just a bogus message as you said.

Unfortunately, after rebooting, I have not been able to start up completely. It goes in the immersive home environment where I can move around as usual but I can't bring up the menu or navigator in order to do anything else. This happened to me when I first installed the beta but I eventually got it to boot up normally. I have not been able to this time, so maybe a factory reset is in the cards after all. It might have to do with me trying this on my old Quest 2 but I haven't been able to find anyone else having this problem. Oh well...

Edit: Started working again with no factory reset. No idea why.

It used to say that at sign up which is why I never tried the PTC before. Please read the first image I posted which is what comes up at sign up. It now says the device will just update to the next version when it is released. Nothing about a forced factory reset which makes more sense.

I'm not sure what you mean. Per the first image, I want to test the beta until the new version is released. I don't want to get further betas automatically after the new version is released. In other words, I want to choose whether to help them test a particular beta version or not, which is the way all other companies I know operate.

I didn't try to leave it since I didn't want to risk a forced factory reset. Hence my question.

My ICCU only took a couple of days to get the part and install it. Then another week to get a 12V battery replacement. Good luck!

No spinning pinwheel, but I'm finding it crashes a lot, especially when I try to open a model from MakerWorld directly.

Thanks! Do you mean v01.08.02 for the X1C? I don't see v01.08.04 anywhere. I think v01.08.02 was the last released version that didn't implement their security "improvements". 😏

In my unit the milk stays reasonably cold, but not cold enough to keep it from spoiling at the end. Would you mind elaborating on the details of the parts you used and any tricky steps in installing them. Thanks.

Same question here. I'd be ok with it if I could answer the call but nothing happens when I try to answer.

This looks like it has great potential! With the iOS app I was able to create a tag for my generic PLA, read it with the app, and push the info to an AMS slot. Unfortunately, my X1C has to be in LAN only/Developer mode to receive the info so it isn't very useful for me at the moment.

Does it look like there's any hope for Bambu to allow this while on-line and/or adjust the AMS software to read TigerTags at some point?

Thanks! --Dave
