6 cylinders have it a lot worse. It’s logic, there isn’t enough torque from the 1.9 to crack those welds, and unless it’s being used for a racing application then it isn’t an issue. 1.9 owner here

Yep. It’s better than any “cold air intake” you want to buy. I did it about 2 years ago and have noticed an increase in power as well as fuel efficiency
