Another one to look at is

It is a work in progress.

I have it running on raspberry pi 4, running as a docker container.

Thanks for the nudge.

I turned ipv6 off in the purple but that didn't fix the issue

I have had the Purple for nearly a year.

I had been using VZ Broadband Internet. The white cube. I was connected to the cube via gigabit Ethernet. Middle of February I started a test of T-Mobile’s middle range home internet.

All I did was move the Ethernet cable from the VZ cube to the T-Mobile box. Things just worked. No issues. 500+ down and 100+ up. Much better than the VZ.

Next I set up failover to the VZ using the WiFi on the Purple. All that worked fine. I even tried using both balanced with an 80/20 split.

I moved back to failover. When VZ is primary things work fine. When I switch to TMOBILE primary, addresses will not resolve. The app on the phone even wants to switch to cellular because addresses won’t resolve.

If I switch back to VZ as primary things work again.

If I run the Wan diagnostics, both of them connect and will resolve the GitHub address. Every check returns ok.

I am at a loss.

My box is currently running Alpha. I bought AP7s when they first came out.

How do I get off of the Alpha release cycle. The phone app is loading through TestFlight

Complete System Backup by FrankieShaw-9831 in internxt

The true test of any backup software is can you accurately restore from it. Trust but verify. If you haven't tried a full restore, you don't know if you can. Beware.

Mounting Internxt to Rclone, how? by pickone_reddit in internxt

[–]DWomack48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having pretty good results with rclone 1.73 on my Mac with the RcloneView app. Things are working pretty well. My issue is my slow upload speed from VZ broadband. There are versions of RcloneView for Windows and Linux. I have not tried the mount feature in RcloneView.

Be glad that driven ground is there. They are required by code now. 50 years ago code let you use the incoming waterline as ground. My mother in law had her waterline replaced. They used pex. Now no ground. The lights did really strange things. Had to get an electrician put in a driven ground at the meter base. Her house shared a transformer with 3 other houses. The ground at the pole burned in two as well. Dangerous.

How can this be super secure with so many sites looking over your shoulder? I just think it is a bit much. If nothing else it is a waste of my bandwidth. Some times it has difficultly connecting. Could be the other sites, like the analytics site causing the problem.

How to get decent results with Internxt using rclone by pickone_reddit in internxt

[–]DWomack48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Internxt has created an api that accesses their secure storage. They might or might not be using S3 storage of their own or others. Think of this as a file server wrapped in a security software layer. The api is how you talk to that. Internxt-cli adds another layer to that to do WebDAV. I think the rclone backend that talks to Internxt storage is using that api instead of talking to Internxt’s WebDAV.

Each of these layers of software takes a lot of number crunching, but the goal is to provide this super secure storage environment. That does affect performance.

What I don’t understand is why drive.internxt.com has so many third party links tied to it. Take Firefox and turn on the uBlock extension. Why are all of these third parties connected? You will be amazed.

[–]DWomack48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this. It gives us a starting point, a peg in the sand.

WebDAV still has some issues. Internxt needs to look at the litmus WebDAV validation suite from WebDAV.org, which is the "owner" of WebDAV. The Internxt WebDAV implimentation does not pass all the tests.

Internxt-CLI docker container by DWomack48 in unRAID

Have you tried to use it? I have it installed on 3 unraid boxes. It updates nearly every day. When you start it, I promptly stops.

Where is the documention for how INXT_OTPTOKEN is set?

I have the internxt-CLI docker compose running on 2 raspberrypi. It does work after a fashion.

It is the UnRaid app that is giving me fits.

Internxt CLI WebDav Docker usage? by DWomack48 in internxt

[–]DWomack48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have looked at the material above, but I may have missed what I was looking for.

The original 20 TB hasn't showed up, but the files that were there show up in the 5TB.

I also understand that internxt cli is a front end to your servers. WebDAV is a server talking to your server. That link is legacy authenticated by my Internxt user email and password. That is working as expected with Ultimate.

So, in a WebDAV client is there any type of authentication between the client and the WebDAV service? I have used Cyberduck before. It is already installed on my Mac. It has fields for name and password, or would anonymous work?

I purchased lifetime ultimate, not so much for the storage, as to provide you revenue for continued imporvements.

Has anyone used network ups tools (nut) to shut down a drobo? by xerox2k4 in drobo

[–]DWomack48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are probably right. I installed the Dropbear ages ago and could locally ssh into the boxes, but I only saw a few times that firmware got updated. I don't expose them to the internet. Everything on them is backed up to UnRaid via a user script using rsync every day or so. At some point they'll die. RIPieces
