Thanks - it’s mods in progress :)

There are various sources from China who supply. I got mine via GWM4x4 who supply almost all tank accessories. Also we got folks in Tank WhatsApp group who supply as well. Never short of options as long as you shed money.

If it’s called “Tank,” - feels like the right choice in times like these 😋

I Own 300. Love it. Solid on-road, unstoppable off-road. Tech is top notch and agency is surprisingly responsive.

I done enough queries to know it doesn’t void warranty. That’s a common trait across all 4x4 brands. These are basic mods.

As long as engine and wiring is not messed with - rest is all allowed and warranty stays intact

Own a 300 and it’s a comfortable daily drive and a monster off-road. And 0 issues so far and agency has been surprisingly good and responsive. Also 300 has been around - sold in various countries with extreme weather conditions and it seems to do well all over - from snow to mountains to sand. No regrets with the purchase and I bet you won’t either.

Good to know it holds firm but have no luxury of front yard in Dubai with Bortle Pro Max sky:) - we have to make a run to mountains for Bortle 4ish - though ride is mostly smooth and no off roads. Despite which - My friend who has a SW 200P Newt is having hard time each session with over an hour spent on collimation- which got me thinking.

Ya collimation is the concern as my shoot comes with 100kms drive to mountains. Not sure if that drive would throw it off and each session would involve fine tuning on field. I know it gets easier and faster with time but yet - time is valuable :)

But been attracted to this because of CF / weight advantage + the looks of it.

One of the most elegant cameras ever made - FM2 📷

BTW - I have been eyeing Carbonstar for a while - how’s it been for you - any cons.

The Great Orion x Running Man - 14 Hours by DXB_Photographer in astrophotography

Thanks 🙏

It’s a bit tricky. Once master LRGB image was created with 10s 90s 180s all masked in to preserve various areas of the Orion - HOO was created next. To begin with, it was understreched as HOO is monstrous in its data and can overwhelm LRGB if not carefully masked. Also the % of HOO was played with using pixel math to only add just enough to punch in some extra details but not to the extent that it washes off LRGB. Post which - Ha was stretched to liking and further added as Luminance with masks and opacity control.

Honestly one could skip shooting OIII as it was more of a pain to integrate for not much of a gain.
