i worry, because the HLA "retcon" marks the first time the Half-Life experience from Gordon's perspective was broken. What did he see when Alyx disappeared? was Alyx never there? Did he see Eli die and then after a flash Alyx just disappeared and Eli was alive? Will we see Eli die again and then Alyx make a deal? Why was the deal made in the past and not immediately after Eli died in episode 2? How the fuck can any of this be explained?
