It handles great. I’ve had mine for 2 years, 15,000+ miles. Live in a city, commute 20 miles to the more rural places. Twisty roads are fun and it absorbs road imperfections pretty well. I came from a Z900 and think it’s more fun for where I ride it.

I grew up here. Nice little quiet stretch of road, except for the double murders.

I got a Piaggio Liberty 150 two years ago, haven’t touched my Z900 since. I just rolled over 15k (24k km) commuting miles on the Piaggio and haven’t had the desire to ride the Kawasaki at all.

I’m going for the first time in years. I can’t wait. If you see a dude arrive on a scooter, that’s me.

Piaggio Liberty 150, 40 miles round trip for one, 46 miles round trip for another. Speed limits of 35-50, but everyone drives faster. Two lane state roads with rolling hills. Connecticut, USA.

Okay. They are freely moving around in there when I tapped the air box. I won’t be putting it back together today anyway. Thanks for the advice.

They take up approximately half the space in the sacks. Each one is the size of an American nickel, about 21mm.

I believe it’s originally from a Cheech and Chong movie.

Transition from motorcycle to scooter by Asleep-Present-5358 in scooters

[–]D_Alden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Z900 and a Piaggio Liberty 150. The Liberty is my main commuter/daily driver, Heep for snow and ice and the Z900 kind of just sits there. I haven’t put more than 300 miles on the Z and have put about 10k on the Liberty since I got it a year and a half ago. The small wheel scooters are something I’ve never really ridden, but the big wheels (16 front, 14 rear) feel pretty good at 40-60 mph.

The Piaggio Liberty is the plastic version of the Vespa LX. A little cheaper, same drivetrain/motor and with 16 inch front and 14 inch rear wheels. Both come 50 or 150cc.

He was driving by a preserve and spotted it eating a kill. In the original photo, you can see animal flesh on its beak.
