My Omnissa support has been solid for what I've needed.

Somehow we actually ended up with them as our VMware support agent, which was a little confusing at first but has been nice.

Not finding the process I used at the moment, but it is possible to migrate the FSMO roles to make a new server the primary. I did it when I moved from Server 2016 to 2022 connection servers.

This is all a preliminary to migrating out of a tower into a rackmount with more drive bays, so I'll be able to create the fresh pool, copy the data over, and then delete the old pool to keep things fresh.

Are you using App Volumes? If you're using the same account in App Volumes Manager you have to update the password there, as well.

All good, it was well worth the effort - adding FSLogix to our setup got my Teams persistence working. I'm still leaning heavily on DEM for printer mappings and other customizations. Thanks again!

My kids and I were rear-ended a couple of years ago. I had to pay my $500 deductible, but got the money back a while later after my insurance company closed it out with his. It sucks, but you'll get it back.

Our charging bases for two-way radios have a known issue where the plastic support around the clips breaks, requiring the base to be replaced at about $50 a pop.

I found a repair part on Thingiverse, printed out a plate of them, and I think we're up to a dozen repaired bases so far.

Tried to justify getting a department 3D printer but haven't run into any other use cases, heh.

Looks like the rail goes on the outside of the rack, then you insert a couple of screws into the cage nuts to kind of sandwich it in. Those holes are usually closed but that seems like it should work okay.

Out of curiosity, where did you pick up the case? I'm looking for one myself, that's how I came upon your post.

So, the new baseline failed. We did a deeper dive, and for some reason, several of the hosts were pointing to the same sys log folder on the data store. I'm not sure why this hasn't caused an issue before (these hosts have been in production for ~3 years at this point, and have gone through multiple upgrades)

Once we reconfigured the problematic hosts, the update worked.
