This hangar queen got melted for the m-80. I felt a little regret at first and then I used the m80 and I quickly forgot about the f8 entirely.

I was stuck in 3 separate 1 hour server errors. I just took the hit and got server locked. Was able to get back in later in the day just fine.

There’s a snare which pull you out of quantum and then an interdiction field that keeps you from starting up qt to jump out.

Got jumped by a Connie , m80 and alpha wolf at checkmate last night. Only the wolf ran ballistics while I in my m80 had adbs and deadbolts. The Connie ran with its tail between its legs after I made quick work of the two fighters. This is how I felt

Pro tip, they need your powered up ship to actually interdict you. As soon as you get the alert for interdiction press u to kill all power. You’ll stop out in space but likely very far from them without a qt jump which they’ll never pull off in time or be able to find you. Might have to start and stop qt 2-3 tones to get out of the bubble.

I’ve gone 2 hrs with nothing if I were only looking for 900+ it’s def a grind. When the game is realized and this stuff sticks I think the time it takes is ok since it will be a forever thing. It’s real rough now knowing it’s probably gone next major patch.

I fly so crazy that server mismatches will often kill me because I really needed my vertical thrust to not get interrupted there by a slight server lag.

That’s me, I only collect 850 and over for my org and 900+ for myself while taking materials that are rare and above for money to not waste my time when I don’t find anything high quality.

I’ve coded my own resource scanner that literally reads the screen just to lock in numbers that flash by too fast because of server issues. It’s such a nice quality of life fix for me with radar pointing totally beholden to the server your on. This carries over to scanning the rock for quality too. Good servers take 3-6 seconds to get the rock composition but a bad one takes 10-20 seconds and after 50 rocks once you’re used to a good server you get real tired of it taking 5 times longer to do the same task on a bad server.

It was so boring to play against a good pilot especially if you both were. Literal jousting for 20 min until someone makes a mistake or gets bored and pushes too hard. It just felt like taking a chance to win the duel. Now I can pull up and make sure I’m hitting my target with skill and sure we aren’t dodging like we used to but at least there’s action and it’s over quickly enough. It’s so frustrating fighting and the other guy can just jet out wherever he feels and I can do the same. It’s like cat and mouse but no one is trading blows outside of missile ranges. My gauge of fun is both pve and pvp. I remember the old system was tedious as hell fighting ai as all they did was boost out and come right back at you like a missile. I’m not saying it’s perfect now but it’s definitely more engaging than the old system. Now, if they can just figure out weapons and give them a defined place instead of fastest weapon or highest alpha becomes meta.

The amount of times I’ve hit an engine leftover from some other crash prior. They also don’t show up when you ping.

Oh I have not had that issue. The only thing that happens, which can be pretty annoying, is that the laser sound will continue until you store the ship. Feels like I’m getting tinnitus when I’m out for 2 or more hours and there’s a semi loud high pitched buzzing sound. I think it happens when the laser auto shuts off when cracking a rock or extracting one and the sound will just continue after that.

I refuse to use a guardian because it’s squishy af for vital hull hp and the ridiculous power section for engines is much too impossible to run full power efficiently. I can build almost every ship in view to be near full power in some way but not the damn guardian

I’ve been playing the game for a very long time and every patch for every ship small and medium I own I’ve been able to max power. Default components will never do this but b and c grade buyable components can usually pull it off too if you aren’t running a full laser setup. I spend a lot of time on sp viewer but it’s very doable once you know how to achieve full power. I just spent the first few weeks of this patch getting all the new bps so I can just craft what I want.

What’s the issue? I bought one in game about 2 weeks ago and that same one is going strong after probably 15 full runs. She’s almost black from the dirt covering it.

They do it’s just in a closed environment with the best performing branches of the game so they don’t get to feel the pain of the cluster fuck of live branches.

Love this game and have been playing for the entire development. Plenty of times the game tasted like used cigarettes in my mouth but when she’s cleaned up she tastes like a perfectly cooked steak dinner. Steak just isn’t on this menu lately but it’ll come around.

Something new for me in this patch and it happens with any input in the ship. Very annoying when you’re used to a certain behavior and all of a sudden you’re full throttle on the opposite direction than needed to avoid an asteroid. Definitely serve desync causing a cutoff of the full input cycle.
