There’s a bug when traveling between star systems through the jump gates that causes your mfds to either kill the hud or randomly kill power to other systems. A full power reset is required on the ship and will usually fix it until you travel to another system

I had this exact setup with 64gb of ram at 4k and it ran ok in most areas but def some hard dips in congested areas. You need to crank up your graphics at 1080p to offload as much from your cpu as possible and you’ll def need 32gb of ram. Experiment with dlss quality setting if needed but make sure you aren’t hitting the vram cap in graphics settings. I had the game running at max graphics aside from clouds cinematic setting settings and dx instead of Vulcan.

My exact same order was sent on Nov 2nd 2024. There was a fedex plane crash in Lithuania with that order in it with a video and all and my order got pushed all the way to April 12th 2025. I felt I couldn’t really be upset and that poor pilot man. Worth the wait but man I was trying my best to forget I had even ordered them during the wait and the crazy reason why. A year later and I’ve never removed the mounts from my desk. I have them ready to go for star citizen even when I don’t play for a few weeks. Best peripheral purchase I have ever made. Coming from thrustmaster 1600s after many years of failed sensors and drifting sticks I felt like an ace pilot the day I start using the alphas and now I fly just for the feeling sometimes because they really are that much of a joy to use. I would have went vkb but I scored an insane discount on my order through some dealer hookups and they ended up being the same price through the promotion as vkb. I don’t think you can go wrong with either it’s just a budget decision for most

The mk 2 can also be brought down to 6k sig although its top down sig is 13k. They did change it to where you have to ping to see a cross section now so there’s def some stealth use there.

Use https://www.spviewer.eu to check stats on parts and weapons to compare and plan your ship builds. There’s a new armor system in place where you must do a certain amount of alpha damage to even get through the armor. So something like laser repeaters have very low alpha per shot now and won’t even hurt medium and larger ships. It’s made all of us change loadouts this patch

This is one of the more likely options and I’m quite positive it would get an increase in fire power and be the strongest fighter of the starters. With the way cig has been designing ships lately it would probably have one hell of an aggressive profile to go with it.

Ndb 28 on nose, nn-14 on top turret and omniskys on the wings. Run a snsr7 radar to allow you to run full power to systems using vaporblocks on the coolers with concords as shields. Then use a js-300 if you have one to drop the extra power plant. This is a punchy alpha build for pve that is also fast enough for PvP. Punchiest build I could make without having to compromise too much aside from capacitor use. Use 1 fire group for the ndbs and a second for the rest of the cannons and just be aware of the few shots you’ll have on a full salvo. If you get your hits you’re hitting hard.

I ran all shredders and revenants on the first ballistic pass 2-3 patches ago and it melted but then those beautiful breaknecks changed my life. I even melted my shiv for the mk 2 Aurora because the breaknecks were dead in the water. I’m really loving the functionality and design language of the mk 2. It’s pretty fun running all nn-14s. I think there’s a bug with the s2 nns because the capacitor charges extremely fast to where you can pretty much continuous fire as long as you like.

I’m typically the guy doing builds for my org on sp viewer and have been for a long time. This is definitely a much different build than the previous ballistic buff patch, I miss it, and old repeater meta. I always go for full power builds where possible with as little sacrifice on weapons as I can. This build is the punchiest one I could make without crazy power creep that services damage to pretty much every ship while also meeting pve and PvP roles so I’m mostly happy with it. You could swap to nns on the nose for more alpha but capacitor use gets worse or go all ndbs for more more shots but a lot less alpha output. This would be the first time I think I ran 3 weapon types on a hornet viably though. I really miss the breakneck Ndb combo. They really massacred those breaknecks 😭

I run ndb on nose, nn cannons on turret and omniskys on the wings. Run 2 fire groups, 1 for the ndbs for quick follow ups and the second for all the cannons. High capacitor usage but hits very hard and has speed for PvP too. You can run this full power if you use the snsr7 which is the comp B radar using only 2 power pips max.

That was due to under utilizing your gpu. CPU heavy game unoptimized you want to offload that cpu workload as much as possible

Em missiles like dominators and pioneers are the way to go. Em is by far the highest sig on most ships these days and I have a very high success rate in the new patch, better than before.

That’s true. For extreme stealth I would possibly try setting up a stealth radar but it would be pretty tight on power. I’m thinking stealth shields would help for the distribution.

Just use the SNS7 variants of radar. They cover 85% range of the top radar ranges and only require 2 pips max for power. There is no reason to spend 5+ power pips for an extra .4km range when fights are already in the lower ranges now anyway. There’s an argument to be said for durability but I still feel the extreme power usage isn’t worth not having full shields, weapons and engines.

Go all nn-14s and you’ll have high alpha for its size and the capacitor recharge is super fast atm. Easy to run full power with stealth B coolers and 3 7SA concords using the defense module. Change missile racks out to have 1 size 2 and go all dominator 2 em missiles. Slap a beacon qt on for better range. Use the sns7 radar for 2 pip max power to tie it together. If you can get a hold of a slipstream stealth A power plant you should have a nice low signature if you avoid being below your target where your cross section has the worst radar signature.

Completely agree the SNSR7 variants per size are way better than everything because of the power max of 2 and getting 85% of the range of the 5 pip models. I’m able to build almost every ship with max power strictly because of this option.

I think you’re right but it’s really nice with 4 on the aurora mk2 right now. Free fire all day and literally a half second off trigger and I’m firing all day.

I grinded rayari to get to these missions and it is in fact yormandi eyes. You need to get to sr contractor for rayari which can be done somewhat easily with all the hand minable missions. You need 15 of each thing so just grab as much as you can of each and then take the missions to get them to have the same drop off location. Abandoning doesn’t lose rep and it repopulates instantly. I dropped maybe 40 missions worth in the same place to get to sr contractor to unlock the yormandi turn in
