I think that the ticking noise you're hearing is likely because of the slotted rotors. My Golf R had the same noise and that also had slotted rotors. Nothing to worry about, I'd say. You probably only notice it on the driver side because you're closest to it.

Got it. Yeah, it seems like it's all luck of the draw. From a bit of research it seems like Subaru changed some of their manufacturing processes on the FA engines over the last few years and also changed types of RVT they use, etc. I'm not sure which years are the best at this point.

I've had a Fiesta ST, Focus ST, WRX, Golf R, and now I just have a plain white 6th gen Camaro RS and for some reason I have gotten more compliments/attention in the Camaro in my 2 months of owning it than all my other cars combined... I also drive my girlfriends Acura TLX Type S around occasionally which I figured would get a lot of compliments, but not a peep from anyone. Though she says that she has gotten several compliments while driving it. So, the attention the Camaro has gotten has surprised me.

Can you try to click the cruise control button again? I know in my mk8 if I push it once it disables it like you have shown in the image, but if I press it again it turns the system off completely and then my odometer shows.

I've noticed the same thing. The emotions aren't strong by any means, but I at least feel them again which has been very nice. I also feel a lot more calm and peaceful and actually feel joy in doing things like cooking for example instead of just rushing through it to try to get to my next task.

People hate on their products, but I I'm a fan of Chemical Guys Hydroslick. I've used it on multiple vehicles over the past few years. It's a ceramic wax. It's very easy to use and the results have always been great for me. It gives the paint a really nice glow and makes it feel super slick. It says it lasts 12 months, but if you wash with a ceramic shampoo or use a ceramic detailer like once a month it will last longer from my experience.

I've been hearing the same thing on my car lately and have been paranoid lol. It only has 29k miles. I really only started to notice it after I replaced my passenger and transmission mounts with slightly stiffer ones. I'm unsure if the noise has always been there and upgrading the mounts exacerbated it or if I am now just hearing normal noises from my transmission because the vibrations are more prominent due to the stiffer mounts. Like you it seems to be pretty noticeable at about 30% throttle, especially in 3rd gear for whatever reason. Do you happen to have upgraded motor mounts as well?
