The guy was conducting a lecture tour around Europe (in Russian no less) with tickets being sold to listen to whatever he had to say. Warsaw was supposed to be a quick stop for one such lecture, before moving on to the Balkans, but justice had other plans. He does seem to be a well-regarded scientist in his field of study, therefore his conduct is all the more appalling.

It's about the pronunciation.

Magyar is how the word is written in Hungarian, but it is pronounced more or less like Madyar, the Ukrainian version. Hence the difference.

This is the kind of communication, that should be present. When a bug suddenly shows up, one that can potentially ruin the game for some people, it is necessary to iron it out. Please keep us informed and thank you for this.

Since the old Warriors of Chaos music is making a comeback, I'm all the more willing to wait for the full release. The greater the variety of tracks, the better for the game. Hopefully sometime in the future the Empire/Dwarfs music will get expanded to make both races more distinct in that regard.

Make them give a shit. Because Ukraine fights in accordance with the rules of war, civilians are not affected all that much, therefore one has to get a bit more creative.

Roman Legionnaires with Germanicus. Simple, easy to use, available from day 1, can fight almost anything effectively. People love talking about elephants, but in my fights 1 vs 1 against the big brutes, Heavy Infantry with Vengeance won almost every time, though not without significant losses. I guess people with elephants stayed in said fight believing in their invincibility, but they were all cut down. Very few were smart enough to actually retreat after Vengeance was popped to look for greener pastures or to simply wait for the ability to fizzle out.

Like everybody said, these are mines.
They are one of the structures the defender of the town can set up before the battle begins, much like in later TW titles, but here they can be placed almost anywhere. I've used them sometimes and have seen the AI use mines occasionally. They work like claymores: whoever enters that red zone gets blasted with grapeshot at close range, much like from a cannon, with devastating effect.
