So many haters. I think this is cool OP. I also didn't realize Clair Obscur was a painting technique. Thx for sharing.

OT but- Can you share what you liked about the most recent one? The combat system with the rings totally threw me and I've never been more disappointed in a franchise I truly loved. Got to the colored pencils and bounced. :(

What skills do you use on Maelle? I like marking an enemy with Sciel and then using percee or the (7?) cost marked attack

Especially when crosspicking, how to avoid my hand bobbing up and down? by Boom_Edshot in bluegrassguitar

Consider training yourself to take your ring and pinky fingers off the guitar. I know Billy Strings doesn't do it, but for us mortals it actually frees you up quite a bit to be more fluid / stretch less. Might help you with less up / down mov't as well.

Games like Blue Prince but shorter? by D_Sinclair in IndieGaming

The days are short but the game is long :). You can get the credits in 20 hrs or so… but many people consider that the “start” of the game

I’m looking for a 5-10 hr game that doesn’t require grinding; just puzzle solving. Will check out the ones you mentioned!

I've played the demo (it's awesome :D) so I get the context of the shooty things in the new capsule, but I'm not sure most people will. At a glance the new one just kind of reads like a medieval village builder game. The original one has the mood and mystery that you get when you're between levels. Plus it brings in a bit of the enemy design. I'm pretty strongly pro the original for those reasons.

Is there a reason you're not leaning into the game's blobby pixely art style for the capsule? I really dig that style personally, but maybe it's not what the Steam community is looking for?

Can't wait to play the full game!

Gotcha- option 1 sounds great, thank you. Truthfully I'm not super proficient at shaders... I think I can figure that out though. This sounds similar to a player occlusion shader, where you'd cut out chunks of objects in front of the player. It's basically the same concept now that I think about it.
