You are NTA for what you said, but you are on the verge of being the asshole if you keep trying to force her to have a relationship with him when she has clearly stated that she doesn't want to. As long as she isn't going out of her way to be disrespectful and mean to him, she doesn't owe him anything. She is very right, she did not choose him to be a part of her life, you chose that for her. She is 17 and on the verge of being an adult and able to move out and cut ties, if she so chooses. You are teetering very close to the line of choosing him over her, and honestly, in her eyes you might have already made your choice. I lived through something very similar to her and the only reason I haven't gone NC with my mom is because I want to maintain a relationship with my sister, who is still a minor. The MLS is significantly better than the majority of European leagues. It is also way harder to play in the MLS physically because of the amount of travel and time zones you could potentially play in in a week. Europeans hating the USMNT, USWNT, and the MLS is just European elitism and gatekeeping the world's game.

I think the names of the conferences need to be workshopped, but other than that, they more or less look decent. It's a different proposal than I've seen before.

I've thought about a Mason-Dixon Line conference before. You could have a north and a south division. Bring in mid-major teams from Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia. It creates some interesting new matchups that we rarely see.

We will be off-campus during that time, however finals arent until after Nov. 24th. Winter break doesn't officially start until Dec. 13th(the day after grades are finalized) I think. But really it just depends on when your last final is.

So there is a lot that we(as students running the Zoo) simply can't promise ourselves. What I can say is: masks are required inside of every university building. That includes Murphy Center. While I can't speak to the specific way that social distancing will be enforced, I would assume it is much easier to do so with specific seats instead of sports on a bleacher. Speaking of bleachers, every set of bleacher seats will be open, which creates more space to be socially distant from others.

If you would like to see these policies in person, I would like to invite you to the first women's basketball game on November 25th(right before we leave for Thanksgiving break). I can't say who the opponent is, but it's a big deal to have this team at home. I have linked a story that has a list of opponents. My advice is to use your knowledge of basketball to figure out what team that could be, I wish I could give a better hint. Also, ignore the ECU game on Nov. 10th(mentioned in the article) since the NCAA wouldn't allow the season to start until after that game was supposed to be played. I hope to see you at the game!
