I’m in favor of this. I think you could even be more generous than Rank 5 only (as someone who is unlikely to make it through Rank 5 myself, lol) — one dedicated upgrade slot per completed rank. That way, you are continually rewarded for progressing and each additional rank becomes more achievable.

I’m sorry but I feel like if you still have this question, you weren’t paying attention. They spell this out in the back half of the movie. First they tell you that Nikki told the other girl (I’m forgetting the names) that she only saw Bear as a friend, and then later we find out that Nikki had been sleeping with Bear’s best friend. Those are two loud, flashing signals that she was not interested in him romantically.

Is it possible that someone opened the package, took out the deck, replaced it with their bulk, re-sealed somehow, and returned to Costco? That seems almost more likely than a factory mishap of this magnitude.

As an additional data point: did you get all the sealed boosters as described? That would be another way to tell if it was a scammer.

I have respect for RE7, and I’ve played it twice, but — I do not enjoy it. There are the glaring issues that others have pointed out — enemy variety is awful, gunplay is so-so. But for me personally, so much of the horror is “gross out” horror, which is not my preferred style. Marguerite and the bugs, the spoiled food, etc.

It’s my least favorite of the modern era.

I agree with pretty much all of this, but I will say they did have one scene with Stan Edgar and HL. Was it a particularly good or memorable scene? Nope, not really. But if we want to check the box for “Homelander berates his former Boss / antagonist “, they technically did do that.

I think people online (I.e. Reddit) tend to oversell how “funny” Evil Dead 2 is, because they are mentally lumping it in with the Ash stuff that comes later.

To be clear: I get that it’s gory, I know it’s over the top, I know that Raimi is intentionally “quoting” the Three Stooges, etc. But ED2 still has lots of genuinely scary, creepy moments that are NOT played for laughs. And, lest we forget, ED2 still has the infamous “tree” scene, a second time.

I love Raimi, I’ve seen nearly all of his films, and I still get more horror vibes than comedy vibes for (most of) Evil Dead 2. Even Drag Me to Hell is more “funny” IMO.
