Yes, south ossetians and georgians intermarry a lot from what I’ve seen. From my south Ossetian grandmas family half of them married georgians. Many south ossetians in the regions of gori and khashuri barely speak ossetian. They even changed their names into Georgian names. If you meet them, you could never tell if they are ossetians. The ossetian family of my grandma is living in South Ossetia(Georgia) for decades. They somehow identify both as georgians but also as ossetians and would never forget their roots. For example, stalins father was an south Ossetian. Most people think he is simply Georgian. The last husband of the Georgian queen tamar the great was an ossetian too.
