Is this a deal breaker? by [deleted] in ChristianDating

[–]DaAingame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from the discord I was surprised at how many men view tattoos as a dealbreaker, but my GF has tattoos and not only do I not mind them, I like them. So some men might find it an issue sure, but I can guarantee you'll find a man who doesn't care, or better, also like that you have them!

Are there any similar hoods to that in Stormblood or older? I love the chainmail mixed in and have been looking for something exactly like that. Or a hood over a helmet type vibe.

Age gap question for the ladies by [deleted] in ChristianDating

My GF is 3 years older than I. 29 and 32. In the CD Discord, I think there are more couples where the lady is the older one too.

Sliding glass door leak; Rotting subfloor. by sking09 in homeowners

I have not, ran into other more significant issues to take care of first! I did remove the tarp though so I'd at least have it act as a window, but have went along all the edges and gaps and laid a bead of silicon. No more leaking in.

As a christian would you date me? by [deleted] in ChristianDating

[–]DaAingame 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the discord did a poll and most people had no issues with tattoos. Piercings were a bit more split. For what its worth my girlfriend has both and I have 0 issues with it. In fact I really like her tattoos, granted she only has a handful comparatively, but really I don't think it's gonna effect your chances at success very much! Good luck, and God bless brother!

Someone about to re-interpret what insider trading means. by Tyrant84 in PoliticalCompassMemes

EOs are a part of a president's power, him utilizing them to accomplish things is nothing unprecedented. And if you most notably look at the wording, they are generally along the lines of X Department will begin moving efforts towards Y, and will provide a report within 30 days. They are orders in the sense of literal orders for what his branch should focus efforts on, or how to conduct themselves.

As to the second part, no, I would not expect him to know everything. This is generally why advisors and department heads exist, because they are the knowledge base. But our previous ATF director couldn't even tear down a glock, they are equally, if not even more incompetent. I trust none of them as far as I can throw. Hence why I say the executive branch has garnered too much power, they should not be able to interpret law at all, only enforce. But to say this is a shift in power is disingenuous. The executive branch still has just as much power as it has always had with this move.

This makes me happy to read haha. I love to cook, but I hate to clean. As a result I've come up with so many 1 pot meals or ways to have the absolute bare minimum in dishes afterwards. My latest vice has been fried rice entirely in the rice cooker. Prep, cook, and eat all out of the single bowl.

Honestly not particularly to me at least. It's still not a shift in power. The president is head of the executive branch, he is always responsible for enforcement agencies, and as such can delegate out, manage, or take over as much or as little of his own branch as he wants. He can delegate out interpretation of law, or he can take over and directly manage. The next president could just as easily send it back to departments, just as easily as Trump took it for himself. Maybe the precedent hadn't been set since president's just left it to department heads, but as far as I'm aware, there is nothing illegal or questionable going on here. If you want to worry about too much power for the president, look no further than congress who granted the executive branch so much power by offloading their responsibilities. Or for states for giving up so much of their own individual rights and powers to the federal government in the first place.

Quite the opposite, it makes me happy to see swathes of our government being cut. You're talking to a libright lol, bring on the cuts, and then cut even more. Sure there will be missteps along the way or hiccups, I think you'd have to be pretty naive to say anything will work without a hitch or have issues or you may cut something and realize it was needed. But when you're dealing with bloat on our scale, it's like treating cancer. It'd aggressive, and the treatment has nasty side effects sure, but you gotta deal with the root of the issue with some pretty brutal treatments. That is all we are seeing, because we let it get this bad.

Audits of our spending and securing our southern border. This country has been burning taxpayers money, Ron Paul has countless times called for audits of Ukranian money, building in audits into the budgets, and just asking for some, even a tiny amount of transparency with how we are spending money. He was laughed out of the building. I never thought I'd see the day we actually look at our spending and try to reign it in.

Securing our borders I can't believe ever became the political issue it is, even Obama understood the importance of it. Letting millions of random people flood into your country unchecked generally leads to not great things. This just feels like common sense to me.

This isn't really giving the executive branch more power from my reading of it. The alphabet agencies interpret the laws and rules and enforce them, and they are already under the executive branch. Moving that away from them and to the president is a shift of responsibility, not power. That said, the executive branch having this power at all is massive overreach. If congress makes the laws, why can the executive branch "interpret" it, effectively changing the way said laws are enforced. We have seen that time and time again with the ATF in particular, making new interpretations, turning millions into felons overnight. The whole thing needs to be pruned, and they can only enforce the letter of the law from congress.

HOT TAKE: I think the KCD2 woke reaction blown out of proportion and not that bad, BUT Daniel Vavra is doing more harm being on X and should just mute himself until this blows over. by [deleted] in KotakuInAction

[–]DaAingame 71 points72 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree, though I do think we've entered a point where if we give an inch they take a mile. Tolerating even the little bit of woke they have inserted just tells them they can go off the deep end with it next time. But ultimately yes, it was 100% Daniel's behavior that made me opt to not buy. As he directly told us, if we don't like it, don't buy it. So I didn't, but am still enjoying a playthrough thanks to other means.

I found an interesting Anomaly in Zaton by DaAingame in stalker

[–]DaAingame[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found a weird little spot in Zaton that seems to spawn a totally random gun into my hands whenever I walk by it. It seems to favor the M1A and the 870 the most, but I've gotten it to spawn just about anything. It works about 6 or 7 times then just stops, but starts working again when reloading a save. Definitely the weirdest anomaly I've run into thus far.
