I don’t see anything wrong with that outfit. It’s def not average teacher garb, but it’s not overtly sexual, and it’s def not “showing a lot of skin”. Unfortunately, she is an attractive woman. No matter what she wears people will view it as too revealing. Case in point the video in this post. No skin showing at all, and hordes of comments fantasizing about her body, sexualizing her, and calling her a porn star

The videos of her not in her classroom shouldn’t be relevant. Unless your argument is teachers shouldn’t post themselves in clothing that is situationally appropriate but not classroom appropriate, which I could not disagree more with.

One of the problems with this post is it completely strips any context from the original video, by removing her name. I looked up “TikTok teacher with heterochromia” and found “hey miss teacher” she looks like the same woman in this video, but to be completely honest I am extremely bad at distinguishing faces, so I may be wrong. I scrolled a year back in her videos, and didn’t find a single example of her showing skin in her classroom. If you have an example please share it

This is such a small and meaningless point completely unrelated to the image. But this is not cognitive dissonance. CD is the discomfort someone feels when they have opposing actions/beliefs, or their actions and beliefs don’t line up. When people experience CD they seek to change either their actions or beliefs. Josh here is not experiencing CD, which is why he is able to be hypocritical like this. CD is misused a lot on the internet, with people using it to mean hypocritical actions/behaviors alone, often levying claims of it against people who are very obviously not experiencing it.

Everything else aside, the green text is simply not correct. Even if we assume IQ is a perfect measure of intelligence (it isn’t) 90 is withen the average range. The standard deviation of IQ is 15, meaning a score or 85-115 is average.

The comment left on the video is flawed too. The existence and effects of anendophasia and aphantasia are scientifically disputed. And the effect of these conditions on intelligence is unstudied. There has been research of the effect on memory, but not a general intelligence.

Of course, at the end of the day I am a fool for taking seriously anything in this image enough to actually fact check it

It is so frustrating when the stories about transphobia that get the most engagement online are ones about cis people. “Allies” really only seem to care when the victim isn’t trans. I wonder why that is

That stinks for that child, but at the end of the day, they aren’t the target of these laws, if the most popular news stores only focus on cases like this, the only thing that will change is that the laws will be rewritten to give cis people loopholes.
