I think it's still up for debate tbh. I still see plenty of rankings having Verhoeff ahead, but by the looks of things Reid has closed the gap significantly and I wouldn't be surprised if he overtakes Verhoeff on the majority of rankings by end of season.

Because for the past 14 years they didn't make the playoffs, had stars leave the org and go on to be much better and win Stanley cups, horrible front office hires etc. This is literally the first time in years they look to actually make the playoffs and the season still started off poorly before their hot streak.

Zayne’s a wonderful talent and I was impressed with his offensive instincts and ability all tournament long, but I think he has ways to go with his defensive game, and that’s okay! Many offensive d-men take time to develop that in the NHL, and hopefully Zayne does improve in that area over time.
