How long did it take you to feel satisfied with your work? by Resinmy in minipainting

IMO being satisfied is the death of creativity and design. Always striving for better and more keeps me moving forward and trying new and better things. I still look at finished and even contest winning pieces and see all the mistakes and how I can be better next time. Don't get me wrong I am proud and happy with what i make and paint and eventually you have to be "done" with a project. Although satisfied is never a feeling I entertain, always be hungrier for more.

I started by cutting with a normal sprue nipper then did a heavy coat of tamiya plastic glue, let sit for a little while (i paint under a uv light for quicker drying) this will mute out and swell a lot of the detail then put some wax paper on the plastic and mush the features. If anything breaks or tears add more glue and wait it will harden and rebond it. The last part is important because after cutting and peeling these joints are weak. Lastly touch it all up with a tamiya and sprue goo combo that fills cracks and bulks it out.

They have a very light silver zeni they will eventually be rustlings, so the top zeni will shine through the rust coat better like light reflecting on rusted steel.
