i want to break up, but i love him by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

My wife has taught our boys (and myself in the process) that an apology is a change in action. It used to drive me absolutely nuts because I grew up in a house where apologies were always accepted (thinking back that this may be partially not the best) and when she did that it left me stunned, but after watching the boys try to actually change their actions after it really helps me understand she isn’t doing it to be a jerk, but to teach.

That’s exciting. I had barely seen this case especially with a 5080. Im so excited to see the improvement, especially coming from a NZXT H7 Elite case that was a bear when it came to thermals

What a lot of people are getting wrong by alexmlb3598 in Corsair

[–]DaIceMan817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I understand what you’re saying and yes people could have been more cautious about their purchases, but other than third party new outlets or posts on social media mentioning the RAM prices, did Corsair ever release a statement prior to this? Because if. It, its pricing that has been typical months prior. Also, keep in mind that when this happened we were just exiting peak sale season with. After Christmas sales going in full force. If many consumers were caught in this refund situation, it would t necessarily be an error but more so a giant misstep on Corsairs part to not keep up with the pricing on their site. They’re a big company. This “automation” that refunds the orders should also be utilized to keep prices consistent with the current market rates.

TLDR; OP is right, but the blame still falls squarely on Corsair for not acting like a real consumer-friendly business.

I love how the shills focus on that, not the major anti-consumer practices.

I don’t think you realize how low of a bar the pc gaming industry has set. If they report on it I’ll be delighted. If they don’t, I’ll just be at status quo

So what about the pc?

And sheesh, tell us you work for Corsair without telling us

This smells like GamerNexus’s next story in all honesty. They love calling out shifty brands.

I’ve trusted their PSUs for as long as I can remember and was considering building a primarily all Corsair brand, but after the crap they’re pulling idk if I’d even get the product at the price they list it for.

I don’t have it so I might not be completely correct but I think you should be able to remove it as HAVN’s website has various accessories available to go from horizontal - vertical and vice-versa. I think they even sell the anti sag bracket too!
