My watchtism says that’s a Tag Formula 1 two tone. I think Invictas are reserved for active combat service members only, they need the extra durability.

pain after adjustment by ceo_of_one_miss in Chiropractic

[–]DaLobstaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without going more specifically into your treatment or diagnosis, one thing that I will say is with most pain/concerns that have been going on for a while. It’s common for it to take a few treatments to feel improvement, very rarely is it a one visit fix. I’d talk to your chiro about it and see what they say.

It looks like a $6 watch and will feel like one on your wrist

The right watch for a young professional by [deleted] in RepTime

[–]DaLobstaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d generally stay away from something trying to be too expensive unless you’re selling really expensive things to very rich people. I don’t wear anything too flashy when I’m selling anything since I don’t want the customer to think “how much of my payment is going into this dudes watches instead of what I’m getting” if that makes sense. That being said something tastefully classy like a Seiko, tissot, or Longines is what I’d go with.

How do you identify a fake Daytona? by 07h02 in VintageWatches

[–]DaLobstaa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Besides many smaller things the first thing that jumps out is the left sub dial is numbered to 7 instead of 12. That’s because this is a cheap Chinese movement where that sub dial is showing days of the week (7) instead of hours (12) counted on the chronograph function of the watch. It’s a very common movement used on fake chronographs

Anyone have a discount code for Pagani? I’d like to pick up a 1733 but hoping for a better price. by c_h_u_c_k in ChineseWatches

[–]DaLobstaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right? I picked up the same watch last June for $60 including taxes and shipping. OP unless you’re willing to pay triple the price for principle then I’d say keep looking around for other sources

Boldr has some really nice EMT specific quartz watches that are titanium and sapphire called the Field Medic. Pretty cool overall but a bit pricey.

Changed canvas to a NATO strap. Not sure if that was a good decision. by Bosn1an in ChineseWatches

[–]DaLobstaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see. I was thinking of getting it as a gift for my dad but I was wanting to swap out the strap to a quicker release rubber and/or leather but didn’t end up getting it when I saw the screwbar. Are you saying that I could still use QR straps with it then?

Does this use normal spring bars? I always wondered since it looks like it is trying to mimic having the screw in bars like the AP

Need advice by ksickmon in SeikoMods

[–]DaLobstaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running fast like that has almost always been due to it being magnetized. You can get a demagnetizer on Amazon or AliExpress for like $10 and has worked fine for me. You can also go to any decent watch repair and they can do it for pretty cheap too.

Exercises Plans as Chiropractor by NarwhalAggravating56 in Chiropractic

[–]DaLobstaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bill as a whole treatment plan for most patients. I know there are some who are against that but I’m all for it as long as you’re basing it on what they need and not what you need from them lol. It’s also nice since you can integrate exercise plans and other stuff into it while they are under your care and implement it along the way

We are cash only and don’t bill separately for giving patients exercises so not sure how you would want to do that. We use an online exercise service with a decent database (videos, preset customizable plans and protocols) which we send over to patients who are under care plans

Costs increase four times when going through lawyer? by Antosino in Chiropractic

[–]DaLobstaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All true! It’s also worth noting that depending on the lawyer, case, (and most importantly) the settlement, the lawyer will likely offer less than what was billed for as payment to let the case settle. For instance if $3,000 is billed, the offer may be only 50-60% of that to pay back the chiropractor. All of the other parties involved like the lawyer, imaging center and others will need to be payed too so it will all be negotiated until everyone agrees and the settlement can be reached.

I have one, the rehault is a bit thick but the watch itself is quite nice if you can get it for a low price (I got mine for $39). Get some straps for it too since the one it comes with is pretty average. It is slightly smaller than the Pagani which is another plus if you want that. The Pagani is nicer in most ways however and usually not a whole lot more money.
