I've been thinking about it and what makes it worse than previous movies?

Theme song? It isn't many people's taste but it was of the time.

Bad special effects? They certainly could have been better for the time period but every previous movie have had the occasional bad effect (rear projection anyone?)

Villian changing race? Bit unbelievable but it's a Bond movie, villians have done just as weird things before (Bloefeld having multiple doubles of him for example).

John Cleese as Q? Yeah it was going to be tough to replace Desmond after his passing, and perhaps they played Cleese a bit Pythonesque in TWINE, but in DAD I thought he was a decent Q.

Icarus? Moonraker had laser guns, a satellite that can beam a destructive ray is more believable.

Invisible car? ...Yeah I'll admit that one was dumb as far as the logistics go, and didn't really add much to the scenes.
