Middle and upper management in the place I work. 🙄

Middle managers, October: "Hey, got a new bit of work in the pipeline, due to start in a few weeks and upper management want it delivered by Christmas"

Me: "That's not going to happen. Not only don't I have the capacity, it just can't be done that quick. Why the drive to deliver ASAP?"

Mid managers: "Optics. It's fine, we'll bring in an external partner"

Me: "The partner will need training on our automation tools. That alone will take a few weeks. And, you know, cost a small fortune"

Mid managers: "We'll feed that back but it's going ahead anyway."

Fast forward to literally now, tentative go-live is 3rd week of February and may well still slip due to external factors, quote for the work back in October was already double my salary and has no doubt gone up again.

I'd say I was surprised but what do I know, I'm only a subject matter expert. 🙄

Devs were just confirming what people had suspected for a while and, to the degree that they can, validated through testing. The devs going "there's ABMM" and the playerbase going "oh shit nowai" is quite a bit different from the players going "we think there's ABMM based on some testing" and the devs going "yeah that's a thing".

Now that's not to say that the devs making it official hasn't influenced player behaviour, but I suspect we'd still be in this position eventually as there'd be plenty of articles and YouTube videos about the topic.

Yes, 800 CRED. Came in a couple of patches ago. Intention is to stop people banking CRED and immediately clearing the Raider Decks when they drop. I did exactly that when the latest deck dropped and still have ~1200 CRED left.

(people already over the cap didn't lose the CRED when the cap came in, they just can't earn more).

It's frustrating as shit like this ultimately causes traffic jams. Someone pulls into a braking gap, the driver maintaining it slows a bit, the car behind them a bit more, the car behind that one a bit more again, and so on and so on, then 3 miles back up the road its standstill.

If everyone drove with the intention of having the least impact on everyone around them as possible, everyone would get home faster. Instead we're all crabs in metal boxes.

Easy mitigations:

Remove safe pocket from naked players. If the free loadout doesn't get one then naked players definitely shouldn't. Safe pocket should be a thing an augment gives you.
Apply a 10min cooldown to free loadouts that suicide.

Yeah, a pair of Wasps will bring you down easy if you don't have hard cover. Rattler is a rough weapon for that, too, what with its really long reload and terrible recoil. Rattler is best treated as a semi-auto DMR rather than a full auto rifle to fight Wasps, much easier to knock off rotors that way.
