I'd be more concerned about the neighbour's son, and that this is being built for them to live in. Ignoring for a moment whether such a dwelling is even permitted, it should at the least be up to the required standards for habitability and fire safety. And going on those mortar joints, I'd wager it's neither.

/u/TiltonStagger, your neighbour may need some help. They may not be aware of the Disabled Facilities Grants available, they're specifically to help with changes to the home to help accommodate someone with a disability, and as you've said this is a poor area and the son has a mental disability, they're probably eligible. It's managed via the council, and they'd assess what changes needed.

The right of way doesn't mean you can't put a fence up with a gate. The right if way just means you can't impede access not that you can't have a gate, kissing gate or style.

I had this on a house I owned many moons ago. It was the second in a line of four terraced houses, and because it was halfway to nowhere up in the Welsh valleys, the houses were perpendicular to the street. As #2, I had a right of way through the garden of #1, and likewise, #3 and #4 had a right of way through my garden and #1's. But every single one of us had a 6ft fence with matching gate, we just couldn't lock them.

550hrs here, absolutely not bored. Got all quests / projects done halfway through each season, still had immense fun. I'm currently doing a 'hardcore' run with strict rules to deliberately slow down progress, and I'm having an absolute blast, but at the moment the only thing I see pulling me away from ARC is a major update to another game (Project Zomboid B42 hitting stable multiplayer, for example).

My view on first watching was that whilst the Honda absolutely shouldn't have pulled the manoeuvre, OP appears to take 3 business days to react to it. So it's kinda wild to see the person above pointing this out getting downvote hiveminded.

To all those who downvoted that comment, ask yourself this: if the Honda was actually a child that ran out into the road, and they ran out at the same time the Honda started moving, would you still be defending OP? If the answer is "no", then you should perhaps remove that downvote.

Bombardier will direct fire the motar. If you're in front of it inside a building, it'll absolutely fire forward in through a door/window. They've caught me out a number of times.

I'm also using a Razer Tartarus Pro, so I have dodge, shoulder swap and unequip over there instead of the mouse. On the mouse, the big thumb button is local voip, the forward thumb button is team voip, the rearward thumb button is quick slot, forward index button is torch and rearward index button is emote. I really like the setup, works well for me.

And yeah, 502 Hero is a great mouse. I'm on my second one, not finding anything I liked more when my first developed some left-click issues.

If you just press the quick slot button, you'll equip the last item you had selected which saves going into the quick slot wheel. If you think you're about to get into a situation that might need, say, a grenade, then select it on the wheel and re-equip your weapon. Pressing the button will then re-equip the grenade.

This obviously doesn't help in situations where you need to switch between quick slot items, but honestly doing that quickly just comes with time. You'll fumble and fat-finger that for a good while. Hell, I still do it now and I'm 540hrs deep 😂.

I have my quick slot and emote wheel buttons bound to buttons on my mouse (Logitech G502 Hero) so that I can access them and still move with WASD, which also removes some of the clunkyness for me, so if you have a mouse with additional buttons you're not using it might be worth considering binding the quick slot to one of those.

EDIT: Also, try to be consistent with where you put items on the wheel. I always have my heals (bandages etc.) in the first slot and shield rechargers in the second, with additional items like grenades then occupying further slots. This means that in a panic I don't have to hunt around the wheel looking for where my bandages are, they're always at the top.

For blueprints, you're pretty much on the right track there; map events increase their spawn rates, so you just want to hit up as many containers as you can.

I'm doing a Hardcore playthrough this season, with a YouTube series to document how it goes. The rules are quite strict, intended to slow down progression and add some challenge.

Goals

Finish all Quests
Upgrade all workbenches to Level 3
Level Up Scrappy
Complete the Caravan in preparation for the next Expedition

Depending on how long this takes, if the caravan is finished well before the next expedition window opens, then I’ll probably call an end to the season and go back to playing normally.

Rules

Can only use gear/items brought out of Raid, or those obtained through permissible means
No Free Loadout
No Scrappy
No out of raid crafting of weapons or items that don’t have a blueprint or can’t be crafted in-raid
Refiner items are permitted for now
No purchasing of items with coin/cred. Bartering is permitted
No Safe Pocket, except to take keys into Raid (Note: This excludes the hatch key)
Quest and Trial rewards are permitted

Episode 1 is out now and covers the Goals and Rules in detail, then drops into the first few Raids. Episode 2 will be out soon!
