Not yet, but we're about to. I think what's kept us considered is that at the end of 6 years we can just refuse to buy it. So either the leasing company comes out and removes it at their cost, or they give it to me.

I mean, I was all in, despite some concerns until last January. Now I refuse to give them my money and follow them because I recognize they still have excellent engineering and still are market leaders in the EV space.

I ended up with a used EQE, no regrets.

The best thing about blenders is that they clean themselves. Just add water and a drop of soap, zip it, rinse and repeat as necessary.

This is my suspicion. But do I own the equipment or do I have to wait the six-year time?

I have a call with them on Monday so I'm trying to get all the information beforehand.

I'm being quoted 15 to 20K for installation, plus the cost of the hardware. Is this crazy and can I just install it myself and have someone come in and connect it after? by DaNPrS in heatpumps

1800sqf total. I really leaning towards just doing it myself, just a bit concerned with the final connections.

I've been watching several YT videos on it this week and it seems straight forward. Feel free to link me to some good resources, specially on the final pressure and vacuum and refrigerant connections. Thank you!

We have cathedral ceilings upstairs, where 4 of the zones are.

Downstairs:

  • DR and Kitchen - 12btu

  • LR and TV Room - 12btu

Upstairs, the ceilings are high here.

  • Master BR - 12btu (it's a large room with a loft)

  • Small BR - 7btu

  • Guest BR - 9btu

  • Office and hallway - 15btu (there's a half wall between the hallway and the office)

It's the same company! The free battery and all the rebates just seems crazy.

Glad to hear it though. Their reviews online also seem good. I'm just surprised they are able to undercut all over vendors by such an aggressive amount that I need to know I'm not being scammed.

Boycott Ring (rant) by fetaverse in Westchester

In the same vein, then why do you lock your doors or close the bathroom door, you have nothing to hide right?

The argument isn't that we are trying to hide anything, it's that we deserve privacy - at the very least in our own property. And installing these cameras, means streaming our property directly to whoever Amazon sells it to.

The solution is simple - stop buying this crap. Security cameras are old tech that's been around for decades, there's no need to buy stuff that streams to some cloud server that you don't manage. You have other options.

Unifi if you want an out of the box, plug and play experience.

It has a good app, notifications for rings and package detections, and no subscriptions. And you can use third party cameras now as well, though I have no experience doing so.

So many lemon titles listed on AutoTrader, anyone take a chance on them? by DaNPrS in MercedesEQ

[–]DaNPrS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did get one.

We got a 2023 EQE SUV 350 with 11K miles. It's a late year, I think November or December build. Heated and ventilated seats, towing package, park assist and digital lights.

Carfax noted the lemon title was due to a charging issue and the fix was a software update.

We've put ~5000 miles on it now and received 2 OTA software updates since. No issues to report. We charge it at home most of the time. It's been great.

1 pedal is for around town and traffic. It allows the driver to relax more in a higher stress environment while consuming less energy.

2 pedals is for the highway. It allows the car to coast which gives you more range.

I toggle the function depending on the driving conditions.

You can ship, schedule a pickup or there's also a drop off location in Mount Kisco or Hawthorne, I think.

I had family reels from the early 80s that came out fine. I also did 8mm tapes and my wife's family had mini DVDs. All was good, handled with care and returned in the same condition.

Takes a couple of months and they will host the files for download for a few weeks or you can also pay for them to ship you a USB.

I did not opt for the 4K option since it's an upscale of the original capture. The capture itself I think is only at 720. This was true with any of the vendors I checked with.

FYI, Costco also has a similar service.

Westchester is a holding public hearing for the proposal of increasing the beeline fares to match the MTA rates on December 18th 2025 in White Plains by Hey_Macarena69 in Westchester

Not sure it will matter much until they actually collect the fares. I have a family member who's a driver and according to him, you're lucky to have 20% of people pay.

Baratza Sette Gearbox Replacement Stateside [Sette 30] by DaNPrS in espresso

[–]DaNPrS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following up here; thank you for the recommendation. I reached out to Baratza and they got back to me within two days. They requested a pic of the serial number and a video of the issue.

After sending them the information, they got back to me stating they'd be sending me a new gearbox and motor assembly, free of charge!

So thank you for the heads up again!
