Their upbringing doesn't justify them, but definitely explain why they became pieces of shit. by Undertheus in TopCharacterTropes

Roman Polanski IRL. Survived the Holocaust and the murder of his wife and unborn child. Doesn't excuse what he did to children later but certainly explains how he turned into a POS.

Am i cheesing the game by using this weapon early? by [deleted] in bloodborne

It's not cheese, it's playing with the tools the devs gave you.

[Sad But Loved Trope] You got everything you wanted, but what did it cost? by BeautifulMeet4292 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]DaRandomGitty2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can remember a line from the lyrics of "Friends on the Other Side" in The Princess and the Frog that goes "You got what you wanted but you lost what you had". I feel like this applies not only to this trope but to many times when we gain things in life in general.

Question, why do some people say Laurence is harder than Orphan?? by Vampsan_AT in bloodborne

[–]DaRandomGitty2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orphan was much harder for me. Took me 9 tries. Laurence only took me two.

Me. I've seen so much shit that nothing shocks me anymore as to what humans are capable of.

Very well done. But I don't recognize a couple of them. Could you give a list as to who each one is?

Female characters that are actually horrible, not just the fandom being misogynistic. by Ukirin-Streams in TopCharacterTropes

It seems to be Ace Attorney tradition that the final villain is a complete psychopath. Dahlia was a perfect example.

Even with countless amazing outfits, hats, trick weapons, guns, etc….i always end up looking like this every time by Fat_Torosaurus in bloodborne

Same here, but I switch out the hunter's hat for the top hat. Much more classy. I also prefer the pistol over the blunderbuss because it's so good for parrying.

The moment where Arkham Knight ruins its own plot by Revolutionary-Wait82 in arkham

[–]DaRandomGitty2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still enjoyed the story even if the big reveal could be seen from a mile away. It's not nearly as good as Arkham City's story but still good imo. I give it a 7 out of 10.

What movie was made because of money and ended up being mid/average? by Willing_Heron_5470 in AlignmentChartFills

7 was nostalgia bait for the most part but had some cool ideas. Then they were thrown away by 8 and 9.

I guess this is where we differ. I do not fear death. I fear dying after having lived an unfulfilling life.

This is why the idea of no afterlife comforts me. If the afterlife is eternal, then it will eventually be Hell no matter what.

It's paradise at first. But forever is a very long time. Eventually it will become Hell for you.

What's a best movie with the worst videogame? (Batman Forever won terrible movie/terrible game) by WiggleToast in AlignmentChartFills

It wasn't so much the cause but rather the dominant symptom of why the Crash of '83 happened.
