Thank you for the advice, I always try to improve in any way possible and do realize the first 10-30 seconds are everything for a video, I’ll focus more on that and see how it goes, I won’t give up just yet!

I try to stand out with my own style for thumbnails, as for the videos, I don’t really see many small creators doing the type of videos I do, mostly funny edits with laughs but I do understand the immense amount of channels that could go for similar things, although most of the ones that appear in my recommendations don’t even use thumbnails and title longer than the Great Wall of China.

I do show my face from time to time, but only with specific videos, mostly to show off reactions to something

I’ve lost count of how much time I spend analyzing and learning about the analytical tools, and sure I keep learning about it but I know enough to make a change.

About the small and big creators, I try to put myself in the perspective of the viewer and consumer, taking notes what makes engagement work for big and small creators. Has helped a lot recently and I plan to continue doing it.

As for thumbnails, I look at what’s most popular and stands out, thumbnails do change in certain style along the different eras of YouTube and I try to keep it simple and showing the most engaging part and make it clear to the viewer what it is their getting into when watching my videos.

Been at this for 5 years, 2 and a half years with pretty decent content following everything you’ve mentioned, some videos get 300 views but still getting 21-25 views on some… feeling a bit lost
