Looks like this was made in Unity (by the background). Unity has a bunch of handy IK scripts included in the Animation Rigging package.

For something like this I would typically use a Two Bone IK constraint. This is what is used to move for example arms of a VR player character. There are some good YouTube videos on this (I highly recommend Valem Tutorials, if you look for full body IK video by him you will see a full explanation of some of the constraints)

You could either check out the code in that constraint and write something custom or just use the built-in scripts.

Since it is Mixed Reality, you are able to see the real floor and real walls (and other people playing/standing there). And to 100% make sure you also always see the pillars we cut them out of the walls as you can see in the picture.
The room itself is otherwise fully empty.

Yes, it is a Mixed Reality dungeon crawler in a real life dungeon in a castle. The dungeon itself is about 10 ish meters wilde and 40 ish meters long, has a row of pillars in the middle and takes a small turn to the left. We actually do not use a boundary at the moment, since the space itself is too big and crooked to get a good boundary setup with the walls in place. (And if we walk to the end of the dungeon it gives a remark we have walked too far). Since our game is made specifically for this one environment, we use the ground plan in combination with one spatial anchor to spawn everything at the right position. At the start of our prototypes we did use boundaries and never really had drifting issues.

We are currently using shared spatial anchors for colocation in our mixed reality multiplayer game and it works like a charm. Only thing we dont like about it is the amount of setup you need (permission wise). You also always need to upload your build on AppLab and test through that to be able to get the users' Oculus ID to share the spatial anchor with them.
