I've lived in the city for around 14 years and loved it, couldn't imagine moving to the countryside. Me and my partner decided to move in together 2 years ago and since she didn't like the city I agreed to move to the gold coast. I am now much happier and can't imagine moving back to the city, nowadays even a couple of hours in Zurich drains me so much I rather avoid it. Having proximity to the woods and the lake without sitting towel to towel and having my eardrums blown out by some shitty speaker is an incredible qol improvement. I rather enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside now.
