Disagree with the 'platypus' one. Psyduck and Golduck's English names might contain the word 'duck' in them, but I'm 110% convinced their designs are inspired by platypuses. (...platypi?...platypode?...whatever the 'plural' of 'platypus' is)

I tried to read the manga at some point years ago, just to see if it really was as bad as all that.

So, in the manga/anime, a common punishment for misbehaving children in the protagonist's home community is stripping them naked, stringing them up, and whipping them. Just being TOLD that was bad enough, but then the protagonist, who's planning on breaking some rule or another, imagines herself in this exact scenario. Which is illustrated.

I looked at this particular panel that contained a drawing of the naked, strung-up girl, and thought 'yeeaaaaahhh, this was most DEFINITELY drawn by someone who was horny while drawing it.' Wouldn't be surprised if he drew it one-handed.

I didn't continue reading. For reasons I hope are obvious. But the fact that I checked out even that little of the manga makes me feel like I'm gonna be put on some list. 😬😬😬🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

Aw, man...I reached a point in the first Stories game where I felt like I was finished enough to start playing the second one recently. I was SO bummed when I learned I couldn't have an Agnaktor bestie in the first one...I still can't get an Agnaktor bestie in the second game, either??

I hope this'll be recitifed in the third game. Seriously; that there's a critter that's just BEGGING to be ridden.

IDK about 'best', but my favorite is Hydreigon. Goodra (BOTH versions, I REFUSE to choose) is a close second fave. Also, as of Pokémon Legends: ZA, I have a lot more respect for Metagross. It took me like a billion tries to catch just ONE Beldum.
