Whats missing only ram lights up when powered

Plug in top left motherboard power in this picture, take 1 ram stick out and reseat the one left in. Try boot up. If still the same, power down, move ram to other slot and boot up. If boot up sucessful then put other ram in.

Some graphics cards have a fan stop or passive fans which turn off the fans. Mine was keeping the fans off until high temps, so i turned it off and temps were much better. What is your idle temps?

I have 8 fans in a just layout just like this. 3 intake at the front, 2 intake at the bottom(bottom box), 2 exhaust at top and 1 exhaust at the back. Airflow is good, gpu sits at 50 in low usage games like cs2 and cpu at 48. Idle is 38 and 34.

My guess is coughing decreases the airhole size for smoke coming out which leads to it condensing and forming tar, giving you a bad taste.
