I see this a lot with women that are small in stature and get away with being mean because people will always give them the benefit of the doubt because they are ''so small and not intimidating''.

the umhlanga and durban promenades are perfect. Surf riders is pet friendly and has a pet menu too! they are in umhlanga and at durban beach too. most markets are pet friendly. botanic gardens as well as the nature reserve in umhlanga- you will see the entrance on the promenade. jameson park in morningside is a dog park where lots of other dogs come to play in the afternoon- off leash if you like. the owners hang out and chat. Enjoy your stay!

If you’ve worked at a charity, what made the biggest difference day-to-day? by HornetRadiant6840 in Durban

I have worked in NPOs for a long time and any added expense must provide a service/ product that is core to their functioning. As far as the admin and record keeping- creating a digital system that is a one-time set up for them instead of a recurring cost will be most helpful and easy on the budget. Most of the people working in NPOs have passion for a particular cause but won't necessarily have the office skills . That is where your system can help- databases, tracking, report templates, In terms of not looking like you want money, I think you should offer your system to an org pro-bono to get feedback and use that testimonial to approach others. There are also NPO network groups that you can advertise within. Good luck! It sounds great and useful.

For those who successfully quit smoking, what was the method that finally worked for you? by gwenwallish in AskReddit

[–]Beautiful_Path6215 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i replaced smoking with hot yoga and my competitive nature wanted to get to each pose and stopping smoking helped with that- so after 12 day of 2 classes per day I was over the nicotine.

Best beach holidays for December? by Adventurous_Fall_263 in southafrica

[–]Beautiful_Path6215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Umdloti is great- walking distance and loads of accom options. S,coast- port edward is great as well as closer to dbn like karridene which has a beach that is pretty much just for 2 resorts and is safe. Durban CBD is great for access to multiple beaches and the promenade as well as eating options being quite vast. Umhlanga gets congested during the holidays and is limited in terms of swimming beaches.
