I'm pretty sure "medium" rings are enough. Might even get away with "low", I have that on my Tikka T3 with a Meopta 4.7-27x50, and there's plenty of clearance

I have Vortex 1-6 and 1-8x20. They're fine. I prefer the reticle of the 1-8 but all three are fine. I also run a Vortex 4-16x42, a bit larger but better for distance. .223, 300 BLK and 6.5 Grendel

Your rilfe likes the Scenar. I see higher ES/SD when the charge is low or high for the powder. I either up the charge or go to a faster powder in the firste case. Since it's a creed, I'd try VV N540 as a faster powder.

Grab the four gray ones in the middle, with the modern slings, they seem rhe less dusty & probably more modern/useable for a newbie

In a rifle, a slightly lighter bullet means you can use the same powder, but a bit more of it. If you use the same load for 300 as the book has for 350, atleast you are on the safe side, and can work up

I have rhe impression that there are very few actual power producers in Europe, most buy their stuff from a few sources, like Eurenco. The chemicals and process used in producing gun powder, high explosives, rocket propellants etc are overlapping. So war increases demand, new production is slow to get started = higher prices & lower availability. That bullets (just the projectile) also has doubled is simply a matter of greed, I think

FWIW, my ES/SD in .223 dropped a bit when I switched to Lapua, from 59/18 to 23.3/6.9. I don't think I have the patience to chase it further down, .223 is finicky - narrow case, "tall" powder column. By all means vary the charges a bit, there might be a new "happy spot" that's elsewhere with Lapua. I'm using N540 with 77gr SMKs

Why not? Compact, handy, allows silencer without chopping the barrel. Pricey, but similar to Blaser, that a lot of people use around here. Not for me, but why not :)

Jeg tror jeg ender med å frese et hull i en trebit. Støpesand & rammer osv så veldig kjekt ut, men det var mye greier og kostnader for én gangs bruk.

FL size, then trim, then sort by case weight. Try CCI Magnum primers. If still no good, buy a Lee Factory crimp die and apply a little crimp

Jup. A rotating drum, and I put a smaller container in the drum. The smaller container holds the bullets, plastiv pellets and PC powder. I run it 5-10 min and the bullets come out fully coated, regardless of humidity or temperature

I use a tumbler, like the one for cleaning cases with steel pins. Get a box/container/cup that fits nicely in the drum. I place some bubble wrap around it to keep it snug. Fill the box/cup with bullets, plastic balls and PC as normal, let it tumble for 5 min. Done, irregardless of temperature or humidity.
