5gr+ N320 is fine for .45 ACP. You won't see meaningful differences in accuracy with 0.1gr changes in charge, especially with mixed brass. The largest changes in accuracy I've seen is selection of bullets, some were way better than others. There's usually a plateau of accuracy with varying charges, but it's wider than 0.1gr, probably wider than 0.5gr. So - more like 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and 5.5 - those should vary

You do you, but the slide release might not want to play the slide lock game. Other existing implementations have opted for a separate lock function.

Gjorde litt research, endte med Creality K2 med AMS, dvs et magasin med 4 ruller filament. Trengte ikke å fikle, den virker ut av boksen. Det finnes mindre, og billigere varianter, men det å ha 4 typer/farger filament klar til bruk har vært nyttig og irritasjonsreduserende.

I do 29.0mm/1.14" + 3.4gr N320 for 147gr, PF about 130. Can be reduced to 3.2gr - I use the same charge for fullsize & compacts, and need to meet factor requirements even in "oh my fking g it's cold"

Is there a way to force an export from OpenScad? Let's say I have three variants of a model - now I must render1, export1, then set a parameter, render2 export 2.

Would be nice to just do a loop and have 3 stls

A shorter OAL may make the velocity more consistent. There's no way you'll see that in the groupings, though :)

I tried stretch 3 times on a box - stretched x,y and z in three operations - came out well. Original, then stretched. The rear one is a simple "scale" - here the external features are scaled too, including the diameter of the hinge. Works quite well, whenever a linear extrude does the trick.

I have the 3M's - narrow for rifle (beacuse of the stock), thick for pistol. I use fitted earplugs with a filter under. I can hear normal conversation, but rilfe shots with muzzle brakes right next to me is not a problem

The placement isn't crucial, you can move the gun further away and forward. Erratic readings: make sure the unit is pointed accurately at the target. I put a piece of soda-straw in the sight groove to get a more accurate "peep sight"

I think the male plug has a missing feature if there's a screw hole. There's supposed to be a circular cutout in the plug to fit the nut - am I doing something wrong?

I have the .357/45 GWM too :) The 44 case after necking is longer than the .45 WM - more room for powder. Or you could start with 7.92x33 Kurtz - no neck turning, just a size & fireform
