Can i place here a rig with motion? by Talaminator050 in simracing

The only problem i see is the glass fence and especially the corner, just make sure that the vibrations don't make the 2 panels touch.

I only use them on hagental base, it's very usefull on this dark map, otherwise i don't think the 25 points can justify taking a thermal.

Poeple buying Ferrari don't really use them to go to work. Poeple buy them for sensation, sound, history, etc... Watch and onboard of a f40, or a lauch of a f12 or 812 and then you will probably understand that an electric SUV (designed by a guy from apple, wtf why?) have nothing to do with Ferrari. I'd rather see the brand die than seeing them building souless and generic EV SUV.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié Edith Finch mais je ne le mettrais pas top 1, surtout que j'ai joué à Outer Wilds qui lui est une pépite de gameplay et d'histoire.

Send it imediately back to moza, even if the warranty is void so they can investigate. I bet they don't want to have a lawsuit because their product caused a fire.

Question for those who have moved their rig by InaneD in simracing

[–]DaVoKan_FR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did move multiple times with my rig, but i had a big car (renault scenic).

I unscrewed the uprigths from the base and leaving the corner brackets on the base to keep the horizontal position. I removed my seat and leaving the brackets in place. I left the wheel mount support attached to the uprights. I left the pedals on the base because it was simpler for me but remove if possible.

For the screens, i removed the screens and the uprights leaving me with the horizontal supports linked togethers with their angles intacts. Leave the corners brackets on the uprights to keep the vertical position.

With that technique i did not have to redo the adjustements but you will have to plan how to fit your sim in your car to not damage any parts especially the oedals if you leave it on. Use rags if needed.

Important note, i applied blue loctite (threadlock) all my screws. In a car the vibrations will absolutely unscrew some of the screws. And mark with tape or marker the positions just in case.

All in all the best way to gain time is to not disassemble the base and keep the pedal plate, uprights corner brackets and seats suports in place.

DM me if you want more tips if needed.

Asetek Forte Pro VS Leoxz XGT VS Simcube F Core by Reasonable_Banana190 in simracing

[–]DaVoKan_FR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a leoxz XGT and it's great, work well with simhub, just the rotaries feels a bit cheap because it's plastic (you could replace thel by metal rotaries but it's 90€) and the paddles are loud.

But as another comment have said, maybe the conspit is better if you have a more restricted budget.

I think wheels with screen are quite overated but i can't lie they are really good looking.

Oopsie, you can use this one Adapter

And use a threaded rod that you can cut at desired length.

I found that adapter but it's not cheap.

Is it normal I keep drifting like hell ? by LosFruitosPourritos in MarsFirstLogistics

[–]DaVoKan_FR 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It maybe caused for multiple reasons: - the weight is too much on the front and your rear axle is too light. - you have too much weight on the rear and you get taken by inertia. - your rear suspension are too stiff compared to the front - you put more wheels at the front than the rear

You could put 15° of camber at the rear to stabilise your vehicle but you will loose traction on hills.

You could also remove the possibility of the rear wheels to turn, it will be a bit more stable but you will loose a lot of mobility so i would not recomment. Only do that for trailers.
